Product information
Pyrus 400 SC is a fungicide to control gray rot in the vine, tomato, sunflower crops, and pear.
Treated plants: Vine, Tomatoes, Sunflower, Pear.
Fights Diseases and Fungi: Gray rot, European pear scab disease.
Mode of action:
The mechanism of action of the fungicide Pyrus 400 SC consists of inhibiting the fungus's ability to produce the enzymes necessary for the infection process. It acts by contact, and the penetration into the plant is translaminar through the leaves. After application, the product is also distributed through vapors, thus being taken up by the leaves unpainted by the spraying solution. Pyrus 400 SC is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides used. It is not recommended to mix with strong alkaline substances or aluminum-containing products.
-Vine - The number of treatments varies depending on the sensitivity of the variety. In order not to create resistance and to maintain the effectiveness of the product it will alternate with botrytis fungicides from other chemical groups.
-Pear - For the control of rape (Venturia spp.) It is recommended to use the preventive or curative product from the beginning of the vegetation period until the end of the bloom. The number of treatments should be adapted to the sensitivity of the variety and the degree of disease risk. At high injection pressures, it is recommended to mix with Topsin, Impact, Rover.
-Tomatoes - especially recommended for species susceptible to the gray rot attack.
Pyrus 400 SC does not affect vinification processes and inhibits the formation of lactase, the enzyme responsible for wine oxidation (scraping).
