Avaunt 150 SC is an insecticide of the single-action oxadiazine group with a broad spectrum of action against several pests.
Characteristics:
Avaunt 150 SC is an insecticide of the single-action oxadiazine group with a broad spectrum of control over several species of pests, bioactive only after metabolism of the active substance, with high efficacy in targeting insect control and reduced toxicity on useful entomophage. Avaunt 150 SC has a powerful effect on lepidopteran ova and larvae at all stages, is recommended for use in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Insecticide Resistance Management (IRM) programs and is not influenced by the high temperatures since application.
Mode of action and use:
Avaunt acts by contact and ingestion. in the body of the insect acts neurotoxic by blocking the sodium channels from the nerves of the target organisms and is part of the 22A group. The active substance, after entering the body through contact or ingestion, produces bioactivation of metabolites and the neurotoxic effect. Behavior of insects changes immediately after exposure to the recommended dose of active substance. After bioactivation, feeding is quickly discontinued, which gives excellent protection to the treated crop. The physiological insect is paralyzed after bioactivation of the active substance (2-12 hours after application) and soon dies. Irreversible action on the nervous system. under normal conditions, Na + enters the nerve channel where it is involved in the polarization / depolarization mechanism. The insecticide effect is not affected by the high temperatures at the time of application, as is the case with many insecticide groups, especially pyrethroids. Higher temperatures up to 34 ° C (optimum application of 22-34 ° C) increase the effectiveness of the insecticide by rapidly bioactivating the pathogen in the body and especially in the stomach of the insect. By its mode of action and rational use of the insecticide, the risk of emergence of resistant insects is avoided. The biological persistence of the insecticide is 10-14 days.
Vine - Avaunt 150 SC combats the moth of the vine (Lobesia botrana) in all generations. The optimal moment of treatment is for egg hatching, but the action of the product allows administration from egg-laying until after hatching. It is recommended to apply 2 treatments integrated in the pest control program, first against the first generation and second against the second generation. The interval between applications is 10-14 days.
Apple - Up to 4 treatments integrated into the treatment program are recommended depending on the number of insect generations and the level of infection. The treatment is applied before the larvae appear when the eggs are deposited. Treatments can be applied from the end of the bloom; The product controls with Cydia pomonella - apple worm and Cydia molesta - Oriental fruit moth; Cydia funebrana - plum worm, Adoxophyes orana - skin moth. Hydrangea (Hyphantria cunea) fights best when second and third age larvae are present. Apply 2-3 treatments / season at least 7 days between applications.
Corn - Avaunt 150 SC effectively combats with corn borer - Ostrinia nubilalis and adults of Diabrotica virgifera - the western worm root. Minimum 2 treatments are performed at 10-14 days for Ostrinia when the first larvae of the pest begin to hatch or when the number of Diabrotica adults exceeds 5 specimens / plant.
Water volume: 300-1500 l / ha depending on the crop, the application time and the volume of the vegetal mass. If there is rain after drying the solution on the foil, it is not necessary to repeat spraying.
