Product information
Venzar 80 WP, 1 kg is a residual soil herbicide formulated as a wettable powder. The herbicide treatments are applied in pre and post-emergence for the protection of sugar beet and beetroot. The powerful effects provide control over most annual dicotyledonous weeds and some monocotyledonous weeds in the germinating phase.
Benefits:
- Flexible application period (pre-emergent and post-emergent;
- Residual action in the soil (3 months);
- No crop rotation restrictions (after 4 months);
- Wide range of species controlled;
- Compatible with other herbicides.
Action mode:
Venzar 80 WP is a selective soil herbicide:
- Applied directly onto soil, the active substance is absorbed into growing plants through the roots;
- It acts by inhibiting the photosynthesis process, leading to the death of emerging weeds.
Methods of application:
- Venzar 500 SC is applied post-emergent, when weeds are at the 2 leaves stage of development, with a maximum of 4 applications, so that the cumulative dose used in a year does not exceed 1 l per ha.
- Depending on the spectrum, the degree of the infestation, the size of the weeds, the stage of the crop, the mixing partner, and climatic conditions, it can be applied according to different treatment schemes:
- 1 l per ha Venzar 500 SC, applied alone when the beet plants have formed at least 4 leaves, and the weeds are small, barely sprouted (cotyledons-2 leaves);
- 0.5 l per ha Venzar 500 SC when the beet formed 2-4 leaves, and weeds are small, in the 2 leaves phase, followed by a treatment with a dose of 0.5 l per ha or two treatments with a dose of 0.25 l per ha.
- 0.25 l per ha Venzar 500 SC at the first treatment, after the emergence of sugar beet, in mixture with Safari (30 g / ha) or other approved herbicides, followed up to three follow-up treatments with 0.25 to 0.5 l per treatment, depending on the weeds that have emerged and the degree of weeding of the crop.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Recommendations:
Venzar 500 SC can be mixed in the machine tank with Safari or with products based on phenmedipham, desmedipham, metamitron, clopyralid, depending on the weed species found in the crop.
