Product information
Venzar 500 SC, 5 litres is a herbicide formulated to provide quality control of annual broadleaf weeds and some annual grasses found in sugar beet crops. The selective herbicide is intended for post-emergent treatments and will remain active in the soil for a long period, helping to eliminate plants that compete with your crops.
Benefits:
- Wide spectrum of control against weed species;
- Flexible for post-emergent applications;
- Provides residual action in soil - up to 3 months;
- No crop rotation restrictions after 4 months;
- Compatible with other herbicides.
Action mode:
- Absorbed by the growing roots of plants, the herbicide has selective action, only affecting targeted weeds, without causing damage to crop plants;
- It acts on emerging weeds, affecting the photosynthesis processes, leading to the death of invading plants.
Methods of application:
Apply during post-emergence, when weeds have a maximum of 2 leaves, with up to 4 applications, so that the maximum cumulative dose used in a year does not exceed 1 l per ha.
Treatments using Venzar 500 SC can be applied in different ways, depending on the targeted crops and weeds, the degree of the infestation, environmental conditions, and stage of crop development:
- 1 l per ha Venzar 500 SC, applied alone when the beet plants have formed at least 4 leaves, and weeds are small, immediately after sprouting (2 leaves stage);
- 0.5 l per ha Venzar 500 SC, with a treatment applied when the beet plants have formed 2-4 leaves, and weeds are small(2 leaves stage), followed by another treatment with a dose of 0.5 l per ha or two treatments with a dose of 0.25 l per ha;
- 0.25 l per ha Venzar 500 SC with a treatment applied after the emergence of the sugar beet, in a mixture with Safari (30 g per ha) or other approved herbicides, followed by up to 3 treatments with 0.25 to 0.5 l per treatment, depending on the level of reinfestation.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Recommendations:
- Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
- Venzar 500 SC can be tank-mixed at a dose of 0.25 - 0.50 l per ha with Safari or with products based on phenmedipham, desmedipham, metamitron, or clopyralid, depending on the weed species found in the crops.
