Product information
Cerlit, 1 litre + Granstar Super 50 SG, 100 g is a professional package that consists of two herbicides with complementary actions:
- Cerlit is a systemic herbicide in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate. It is approved as a post-emergence herbicide to control dicotyledonous weeds from straw cereals, vines, corn, meadows, or apple orchards.
- Granstar Super 50 SG is a selective systemic herbicide applied in post-emergence treatments. It is used in straw cereal crops to control broadleaf, annual and perennial weeds.
Benefits:
- Cerlit is quickly absorbed and then transferred to the plant
- the product begins to act shortly after application
- weeds will be fully controlled after two weeks
- Granstar Super 50SG is not phytotoxic
- Cerlit does not create residual problems for post emergent crops.
- Cerlit is very well tolerated by straw cereals and has a very wide application window.
- The treatments are effective in controlling weeds at all stages of growth, but maximum effectiveness is obtained in the stage of active growth.
Action mode:
- Cerlit fights the problem that causes the biggest problems in cereal crops.
- This herbicide is based on three active substances: fluroxypyr, thifensulfuron-methyl, tribenuron-methyl. The product is quickly absorbed and then transferred to the plant. In weeds sensitive to these active substances, the herbicide causes a typical auxin reaction even after a few hours of application. The first visible effect is the twisting of the leaves.
- Granstar Super 50 SG has 2 active substances: thifensulfuron methyl and tribenuron methyl and is absorbed through the leaves and roots and is quickly translocated throughout the plant. The growth of weeds is stopped only a few hours after application, but the symptoms become visible after 5-10 days after application.
- The weeds wither and disappear completely only after 15-25 days.
- Granstar Super 50 SG is very effective when applied to small weeds in the active growth phase.
Methods of application:
- Cerlit is applied directly to the ground by spraying.
- In case of stronger infestations, it is recommended that the product be applied in their young phase, when the weeds have a maximum of 5-6 true leaves.
- In mixed infestations and in case of resistant weeds, if the Cerlit product is applied in a mixture with DMA salt or other hormonal herbicides, the treatment must be carried out until the appearance of the first internode.
- In the case of straw cereal crops, in general, the treatment is applied from the twinning stage of the crop plant until the appearance of the ear. The recommended dosage is 0.4 l / ha if combined with 2.4 D or 0.8 l / ha if applied alone.
- In the case of maize crops, the treatment is applied when the crop plant is in the 4-6 leaf stage and the perennial dicotyledonous weeds have 2-4 leaves. The recommended dosage is 1 l / ha.
- In meadows, the treatment is applied in the rosette phase of the weeds, and the recommended dosage is 1 l / ha.
- For apple orchards on fruit, the treatment is applied post-emergence, and the recommended dosage is 1.5 l / ha.
- Granstar Super 50 SG is applied in post-emergence treatments. The dosage and duration of treatment depend on the spectrum of weeds, the degree of infestation, the size of the weeds at the time of application and the environmental conditions.
- In straw cereal crops, the treatment is applied from the 3-leaf stage until the beginning of the straw elongation to control the broadleaf weeds. The ideal time for application is during periods of active weed growth, when they are in the 2-4 leaf stage.
The recommended dose for wheat cultivation is 40 g / ha.
- The total volume of solution applied by spraying should be 200-400 l / ha.
Compatibility:
Cerlit can be combined with foliar fertilizers. To broaden the control spectrum it can be combined with other herbicides such as DMA 6, Esteron Extra 600 EC, Lontrel 300. Before use it is necessary to consult the compatibility tables and perform a practical test.
Granstar Super 50SG is compatible with most herbicides and fungicides used on cereals. However, it is recommended to check the compatibility under the specific conditions of use.
Recommendation:
If Granstar Super 50 SG is used as directed and in the recommended dosage, it is not phytotoxic.
Granstar Super 50 SG can also be applied at lower temperatures, but higher than 5 degrees Celsius.
If it rains less than 2 hours after treatment, the effectiveness of the treatment may decrease.
It is recommended to apply only one treatment per year.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
