Product information
Glean 75 DF, 100 g is a professional herbicide with selective action designed for post-emergence control of broad-leaved weeds and grass weeds from strawberries.
Benefits:
- Broad spectrum of broadleaf weed control.
- Long period of action.
- Fights some grass species as well.
- Wide range of applications.
- Selective against straw cereals.
- Highly effective autumn cereal herbicide and product persistence support.
- Ideal for repeated crop rotation of straw cereals or monoculture.
Action mode:
Glean 75 DF is a systemic herbicide that is absorbed through leaves and roots. It acts by inhibiting the cell division in the growth peaks of the stems and roots of sensitive plants. The growth of weeds is stopped within a few hours of application. Symptoms are visible after 5-10 days, and death occurs after 15-25 days.
Methods of application:
- For wheat, Glean 75 DF is applied in post-emergence. Post-emergence treatments applied in the autumn are especially recommended for Apera spica infested lands, Alopecurus myosuroides and/or Lolium spp.
- It is recommended to apply the herbicide in the bradiso phase to a height of 15 cm of plants.
- The most effective control of broadleaf weeds is obtained when the plants are small, the phase of the cotyledons up to 24 leaves, Apera spica-venti, and for (the grass wind) in the 1-3 leaf stage. The delayed application of the product to the bellows phase does not damage the cereals but reduces the effectiveness of the more developed weeds that have exceeded the maximum sensitivity.
Recommendations:
Wheat: 15-20 g / ha, depending on application time and weed spectrum;
Flax: 10-15 g / ha, applied in the bradisor phase (5-15 cm height of the plant)
- Apply at the increased dose for weed treatments and weed control.
- Seed spike (wind grass), Cirsium arvense (palm tree), or other less sensitive species.
- To prevent herbicide resistance, mix Glean 75 DF with other grain-approved herbicides to improve efficacy.
- To increase efficiency in dry weather, add in combination with Adjuvant Trend - 250 ml/ha.
- Pay attention to the crops following rotation.
- Do not apply if the crop is stressed (such as drought, excessive moisture, etc.).
- In order to obtain best results apply while weeds are actively growing under moist conditions during the period of control.
Compatibility:
- mixtures are compatible with AGRAL 90, BUCTRIL DS, TOPIK 240 EC, TOPIK 80 EC, TRISURE S, PARTNER 650, MCPA and 2,4-D ESTER.
