Product information
Granstar Super is a selective systemic herbicide that is absorbed through the leaves and roots, thus stopping the growth of perennial dicotyledonous weeds. Inhibit cell division in roots, growth tips, and axial buds, stopping the growth and development of weeds within hours of application. Its effect is visible (yellowing or reddening of plants) after a few days of treatment and the weeds necrose and die 2-3 weeks after application.
Treated plants: Barley, Oat, Rye, Wheat
Combat weeds: Chickweed, Creeping thistle, Flower-of-an-hour, Pale persicaria, Spear saltbush, Wild mustard
Granstar Super is ideal for field cleaning for rotation crops (potato, beet, or sunflower) where combating broad-leaved weeds is difficult.
How to use it:
Granstar Super is applied in post-emergence to the grain cereal in the spring from the breeding to the appearance of the leaf. In order to increase the effectiveness of the herbicide, it is recommended to apply in the period of active growth of weeds, respectively in the phase of cotyledons up to 6 true leaves. It can be applied at temperatures above 5 degrees C. It is necessary to absorb the solution by the plant for 2 hours until irrigation or precipitation. To increase the spectrum of control of dicotyledonous weeds, it is possible to mix in the equipment reservoir with herbicides based on 2,4D, dicamba, bromoxynil, or fluroxypyr.
To combat the Corn Thistle, it is recommended to apply the herbicide when the weed has a maximum of 10-15 cm high (4-6 leaf rosette).
To combat turbulence in powerful infestations or when in the advanced growth phase, it is recommended to mix fluroxipir at a dose of 400 ml/ha.
