Product information
Granstar 75 DF, 100 g is a selective herbicide for use in cereal crops for the control of broadleaf weeds. Granstar offers wide spectrum control, including against hard to control weeds. Treatments can be applied safely, thanks to the highly selective formulation, and do not impose crop rotation restrictions. Highly compatible with other crop protection products, and with a wide application window, Granstar 75 DF can broaden its control range to offer high-quality action, resulting in better crop plants and a larger yield.
Benefits:
- Wide control spectrum, including difficult weeds;
- Selective action for crop protection;
- No crop rotation restriction;
- Compatible with most crop protection products;
- Granule formulation makes applications easy and storage safe;
- Systemic action for post-emergent broadleaf weeds control.
Action mode:
Granstar 75DF delivers selective, systemic, sulfonylurea-based herbicidal action for post-emergent broadleaf control:
- It is absorbed by leaves and roots and is rapidly translocated throughout the plant;
- Inhibits cell division in the growing tips of shoots and roots in sensitive weeds;
- Weed growth is stopped a few hours after application, and symptoms appear 5 to 10 days after treatments, with weed death within 15 to 25 days;
- Less sensitive weeds and those in an advanced stage of growth will not be eliminated but they will remain undeveloped and will no longer compete with crop plants for water and nutrients;
- Granstar provides maximum effectiveness when applied in the phase of active weed growth.
Methods of application:
Granstar 75 DF can be mixed with other herbicides (fluroxypyr) and most fungicides.
For the control of grass weeds, Granstar can be mixed with approved grass herbicide at a full dose.
When mixing with other partner products, Granstar will be added first to the tank mix, followed by the partner herbicide and then the surfactant.
Dose:
Wheat - Postemergent applications with 10 to 15 g per ha.
Barley - Postemergent applications with 15 to 20 g per ha.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Recommendations:
In conditions of water deficit in soil or the atmosphere, an adjuvant such as TREND is recommended.
