Product information
Accent 75 WG is one of the most effective post-emerging sulfonylurea herbicides in combating Sorghum halepense and Elymus repens which contains nicosulfuron, one of the most active active substances currently known to combat annual and perennial monocotyledon weeds.
Benefits:
- Super effective in its combat;
- Easy-to-use formulation;
- Various application methods
- Effective post-emergent;
- Concentrated formulation;
- Systemic herbicide, absorbed by foliage;
- Effective against annual and perennial monocotyledon weeds;
- Assures a safe environment for corn crops;
- Quick absorption process;
- Creates a metabolic disruption resulting in the incapacity of the weeds to develop.
Action mode:
- Accent 75 WG has excellent systemicity and is translocated shortly after application, from the leaves to the underground parts of the weeds (rhizomes, roots), which it completely destroys.
- Nicosulfuron is very selective and has a wide application window.
- As a result, complete destruction of the entire plant, including rhizomes, is achieved. Normally, this stage of perennial grass weeds is recorded when the corn is in the 6-8 leaf stage.
- Accent 75 WG has a rapid translocation in tissues, so the rays that occur at about 4 hours after application do not adversely affect the quality of the treatment.
Methods of application:
- Accent 75 WG can be applied simultaneously with herbicides to control broad-leaved weeds, especially Xanthium sp.
- To combat rhizomes or pyre, use Accent 75 WG at a dose of 55-80 gr / ha + 0.1% TREND 90. The herbicide is carried out when the weeds are 15-20 cm tall, so that the whole amount of the active substance administered is translocated into the rhizomes.
- To combat annual grasses, use a recommended dose of 45 g / ha + 0.1% TREND 90.
- The herbicide is carried out when the corn is in the 2-4 leaf stage. Maximum efficacy is achieved when treatment takes place prior to the breeding of grass weeds. And in this growth phase it can be used in conjunction with a herbicide to control broad-leaved weeds if the type of infestation with these species requires such a herbicide.
Compatibility:
- Compatible with various herbicides and adjuvants.
Recommendations:
- Mechanical or manual work should be carried out only after about 7 days after application to allow translocation into weed rhizomes.
- Apply product at a rate of 2/3 ounces per acre;
- Use correspondent broadcasting equipment;
- Do not apply to non-actively growing weeds if stressed due to extreme weather conditions;
- Applications must include non-ionic surfactant or a crop oil concentrate and a fertilizer based on ammonium nitrogen;
- Fill tank 1/4 to 1/3 using water;
- Mix thoroughly and required quantity of product;
- Agitate until fully dispersed for at least 5 minutes;
- Continue to mix and fill the tank with water;
- Add required spray adjuvants;
- Use mixture within 24 hours in order to avoid settling and degradation;
- For resistance management include rotation of chemicals with different modes of action;
- Check the Application Dilution Table.
