Product information
Turbo Flo is a systemic, hormonal herbicide designed to control annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds in straw and corn crops.
Benefits:
- Fights a wide range of weeds
- The herbicide is quickly absorbed into the plant and acts effectively
- The results may appear even just after a day after the treatment
- It is effective even after it has rained
Action mode:
- Turbo Flo is composed of two active substances with different mechanisms of action on weeds. But both have a systemic action.
- The herbicide enters the plant within about an hour of application and acts on the weed growth meristems. The first symptoms appear about a day after treatment. Because it penetrates the plant so quickly, it does not risk being washed and removed if it rains after treatment.
- The product has a very wide range of weeds that it fights, even when they are in a more advanced stage of growth and are over 25 cm tall. - This herbicide can also be used on all species of straw cereals (winter wheat, spring wheat, barley, barley, oats, rye) and corn.
Methods of application:
- The herbicide is applied in post-emergence treatments by spraying on the ground. Usually, the operation is performed with mechanized slides.
- The dosage is made according to the crop plant and according to the level of weed infestation.
- For wheat crops, the treatment is done in spring, when the wheat plant is in the twinning phase until the formation of the 3rd internode. - The recommended dosage is 0.4-0.6 l / ha.
- For corn crops, the treatment is applied post-emergence, when the corn plant already has 4-6 leaves developed.
- The recommended dosage is 0.4–0.6 l / ha. In both crops, the dose of 0.4 l / ha is used when the weeds have 8 leaves, the crop has a normal density and the infestation is with annual species. The dose of 0.6 l / ha is used when the crop is rare, the dominant infestation is with perennial species or when the annual species have more than 8 leaves at the time of treatment.
Compatibility:
TURBO FLO is compatible with most plant protection products, but for new mixtures, before use it, it is a good idea to perform a physico-chemical compatibility test.
Recommendation:
It can also be used at lower temperatures, but not below 5 ° C.
After crops treated with TURBO FLO, it can be sown rapeseed without any restrictions and without risk of phytotoxicity.
In the case of maize crops, this herbicide is not used on crops treated with organophosphorus insecticides.
If the treated crop is destroyed for other reasons, corn or soybeans may be sown 4 weeks after treatment.
