Product information
Mustang is a post-emergence systemic herbicide in the form of a concentrated suspension, designed to control broadleaf weeds in straw cereals and corn. Mustang is a selective, systemic herbicide based on 2 active substances: florasulam 6.25 g / l and 2.4 D EHE acid 300 g / l.
Benefits:
It is a systemic herbicide
The product is effective even at temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius
Because it has no residual action, it does not negatively influence post-emergence crops
Action mode:
It acts on annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds from wheat, barley and barley crops.
The product is effective even at temperatures between 5-25 degrees Celsius degrees, unlike standard products, which become active only at temperatures above 8-10 Celsius degrees .
In field conditions, it acts as a foliar herbicide that penetrates the leaves through the stomata, then is transported to the growing tissues. It acts only on the weeds present at the time of application, postemergent.
The herbicide has no residual action, so it does not negatively influence the post-emergence crops, It allows the sowing of any crop after harvest, starting with the autumn straw cereals.
Methods of application:
For cereal crops, the product is applied when the weeds have a maximum of 4-6 leaves and a maximum height of 10 cm, and the cereal crop is at the beginning of the twinning until the third internode.
For corn crops, the treatment is applied when dicotyledonous weeds have 2-4 leaves and corn has 4-6 leaves. The recommended dose is 0.4-0.6 l / ha, depending on the degree of infestation.
Preharvest interval (PHI): 3 weeks.
Compatibility:
No compatibility data with other similar products are currently known.
Recommendation:
Do not use after frosty nights for in such situations its effectiveness decreases.
The volume of water used to prepare the spray solution should be 200-400 l.
If the mustang-treated crop is destroyed for other reasons, spring cereals can be sown two weeks after treatment, and corn or soybeans after four weeks.
The product does not apply to maize crops if treated with organophosphorus insecticides.
The recommended dose in post-emergence treatment is 0.4-0.6 l / ha, depending on the degree of infestation.
