Kerb 50 W is a systemic, selective, powdered herbicide. It is used in pre-emergence and post-emergence treatments to control annual monocotyledonous weeds, perennial monocotyledon, as well as dicotyledonous weeds from alfalfa, clover, lettuce, carrot, sugar beet and forest nurseries.
Benefits:
It allows the formation of new crops such as lettuce, beans, peas, radishes, clover, immediately after harvesting previous crops that used Kerb 50 W.
It can be used both pre-emergent and post-emergent.
Action mode:
- Kerb 50 W is based on an active substance, Propyzamide 50%.
- The herbicide acts by root absorption. Therefore, in order to ensure effective control, it is important that after the application of the treatment, the soil has sufficient humidity. This is achieved through rain or irrigation.
Combats weeds: slender meadow foxtail, wild oat, couch grass, crabgrass, green foxtail, meadow-grass, pigweed, lamb's quarters, shepherd's-purse, field horsetail, flanders poppy, black nightshade;
Methods of application:
For alfalfa and clover crops: apply Kerb 50 W in early spring, after the first mowing, when the weeds begin to germinate. Weed control is increased especially after the application of the herbicide, precipitation is recorded.
To control the other weeds sensitive to propyzamide: apply Kerb 50 W in autumn, in pre-emergence, especially in rainy areas or with irrigation possibilities, but also in spring in post-emergence as early as possible, especially in the case of weeds that are in the growth of up to 2 leaves. Use a dosage of 4-5 kg / ha.
- Salad crops: apply before planting it or 7-10 days after transplanting, but before the appearance of weeds.
- In the absence of precipitation: irrigate the land in order to optimize the effectiveness of the product.
- Preharvest interval (PHI): 6 weeks. The recommended dosage is 2-3 kg / ha.
- Sugar beet: apply in the growth stage of 6-8 leaves, as soon as the first signs of infestation appear. It is recommended to use a high volume of water of 500-600 l / ha and with a dosage of 4 kg / ha.
- Carrots crops, apply up to the stage of 2-4 leaves of the culture, when the first signs of infestation appear. The recommended dosage is 4 kg / ha
- Spruce nurseries, treatments with Kerb 50 W can be made no later than 1 month after transplanting. Recommended dosage: 5 kg / ha
Compatibility:
In pre-emergence: apply in a mixture with other approved herbicides.
In post-emergence, do not combine with other products.

Recommendation
- Crops such as lettuce, beans, peas, radishes, clover, and alfalfa can be established immediately after harvesting the crops in which Kerb 50 W was used.
- In 4-5 months after applying Kerb 50 W you can grow onions, garlic, potatoes, cabbage, tomatoes, peppers, other vegetables, and sunflowers.
- At 9-10 months after application of Kerb 50 W, cereals and corn can be grown.
