Product information
Goal 4 F is a herbicide used to remove dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds from sunflower, onion and vine crops. depending on the treated culture it is used pre-emergent or post-emergent.
Benefits:
- It is a herbicide that can be used in both emerging and post-emergent treatments
- It has a very effective action. Goal 4F quickly destroys young weeds, having a contact action
Action mode:
Goal 4 F is based on the active substance oxyfluorfen 480 gr / liter.
Depending on the culture treated, Goal 4F is used as a pre-emergent herbicide, with soil application or as a post-emergent contact herbicide.
- When applied pre-emergent, Goal 4F forms a thin film on the surface of the soil, destroying the weeds that emerge when they come in contact with this film.
Therefore, it is very important that the soil is well prepared before applying the herbicide and does not intervene mechanically for a while.
- When applied post-emergence, Goal 4F quickly destroys young weeds, having a contact action. The best results are obtained when the weeds are in the 2-4 leaf stage.
For maximum control action, it is important that the weeds are covered with the herbicide solution.
Methods of application:
- A dosage of 0.5 l / ha will be applied to the sunflower, in pre-emergent treatment, to control the annual dicotyledonous weeds.
- For chives onions, a dosage of 0.5 l / ha will be applied, in post-emergent treatment, in a water quantity of 300-500 l water / ha.
- For directly sown onions, a dosage of 0.5 l / ha is applied, in post-emergent treatment, when the onion plants have 2-3 true leaves.
- A vine of 2.5 l / ha is applied to the vine in post-emergence treatment, after the formation of the fruits, when the weeds do not exceed 10-15 cm.
The recommended amount of dilution is 300-500 liters of solution per hectare.
Compatibility:
Goal 4F is compatible with other herbicides, insecticides and fungicides.
However, before use, it is recommended to consult the compatibility tables and perform a practical test, respecting the prescribed doses.
Recommendation:
- Goal 4F may cause necrotic damage, twisting or pinching of onion plants, but these will not affect the further development of the crop or production. These manifestations are considerably reduced when the herbicide is applied no earlier than 3 days after the last rain or after irrigation, because the restoration of the waxy substance on the leaves protects the plants.
- Do not mix Goal 4F with other fertilizers or pesticides when applying postemergence to onions.
- In order not to cause burns, avoid spreading the herbicide on the vine foliage.
