Product information
Goal 2 XL, 1 litre is a herbicide product designed to protect against unwanted weeds in a wide range of crops. It is a pre-emergent and post-emergent contact herbicide that creates a protective layer on the soil it is applied to that inhibits the development of a large selection of broadleaf weeds.
Benefits:
- Can be used for sunflower, vegetable crops, fruit trees, vine;
- Quality contact herbicidal action;
- Lasting protection;
- Flexible application and large spectrum control;
- Selective action for improved crop protection.
Action mode:
Goal 2 XL protects crops from emerging weeds:
- The product can be applied both during pre and post-emergence;
- When applied pre-emergent, the herbicide forms a film with long-lasting residual action (5-6 months), that eliminates emerging weeds;
- When applied post-emergent, when weeds have 2 - 4 leaves (maximum 7 - 10 cm), it acts as a contact herbicide;
- Offers control over dicotyledonous weeds and a secondary, partial effect against monocotyledonous weeds.
Methods of application:
For post-emergent applications, Goal 2 XL is applied when weeds have 2 to 4 leaves and are of a maximum of 10 cm in height.
For pre-emergent applications, the herbicide is applied to soil, where it forms a protective layer against emerging weeds.
The treated soil must be well prepared before the herbicidal application.
The application dose is between 1 to 5 l per ha, depending on the crop that is being treated.
Follow the label directions for dosage and application instructions.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Not compatible with highly oxidizing products.
Recommendations:
Avoid spray drift onto adjacent crops.
A higher dose will be applied to weeds in an advanced stage of development.
Apply to prepared beds and soil surfaces left undisturbed during the period of weed control.
0.25-inch irrigation or rain is required to activate Goal 2 XL following application.
Only apply using ground equipment.
Do not apply to enclosed greenhouses.
Do not graze the treated area for feed or forage.
