Goal 4 F is a herbicide which, depending on the treated crop, is used pre-emergence or post-emergence for the removal of dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds from sunflower, onion and vines.
Treated plants: Eggplant, Bell Pepper, Tomatoes, Onions, Sunflower, Vine, Fruit Trees
Combat weeds: Abutilon theophrasti, Amaranthus retroflexus, Chenopodium album, Galinsoga parviflora, Hibiscus trionum, Lamium amplexicaule, Malva parviflora Polygonum spp., Portulaca oleracea, Raphanus raphanistrum, Sinapis arvensis, Sisymbrium sophia, Solanum nigrum, Urtica urens, Veronica spp.
Mode of action: Depending on the treated crop, Goal 4F is used as a preemergent herbicide, applied to the soil or as a post-emergence contact herbicide.
- When applied preemergent, Goal 4 F forms a thin film on the surface of the soil, destroying the weeds that spring up when it passes through this film. Therefore, it is very important for the soil to be well prepared before the application of the herbicide, so as not to destroy the herbicide film.
- When applied post emergently, Goal 4 F quickly destroys young weeds by its contact action. The best results are obtained when the weeds are in the 2-4 leaf stage. Good coverage of weeds with herbicide solutions is essential to achieving maximum combat. Goal 4 F does not leap in the ground.
Way of usage:
- On sunflower, 0.5 l / ha, pre-emergent, will be applied to combat annual dicotyledonous weeds (except Xanthium-cornuti).
- Apply 0.5 l / ha, post-emergent, in 300-500 l water / ha on the chives.
- On direct-seeded onions apply 0.5 l / ha, post-emergence, when the onion plants have 2-3 true leaves. Goal 4F can cause necrotic lesions, twisting or dwarfing onion plants, but they will not influence the further development of culture or production. These manifestations are considerably reduced when the application of the herbicide is done not earlier than 3 days after the last rain or after irrigation so that the restoration of the waxy substance on the leaves protects the plants. Do not mix Goal 4F with other fertilizers or pesticides when applying post emergently to onions.
-On vineyards apply 2.5 l / ha post-emergence after the formation of fruits when the weeds do not exceed 10-15 cm. Avoid spreading the herbicide on the vineyard so as not to cause burns.
The amount of solution per hectare is 300-500 liters.
Compatibility: Goal 4 F is compatible with other herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides. Prior to use, it is recommended to consult the compatibility tables and perform a practical test, respecting prescribed doses.
