Product information
Galera SL, 1 litre is a postemergence application herbicide for foliar spraying designed to offer excellent control against annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds in rapeseed and mustard crops.
Benefits:
- Controls annual and perennial weeds;
- Herbicide for postemergence treatments;
- Provides both contact and systemic action, thanks to its two active ingredients;
- Contains two active substances;
- Excellent compatibility with other crop protection products;
- Low use rates for quality results.
Action mode:
Galera SL protects mustard and rapeseed plants from competing weeds;
- The herbicide is absorbed mainly through the leaves and then translocated to the entire plant that is targeted;
- Once inside the plant, the herbicide has contact action, delivered by picloram, and also allows for systemic action through the second active substance, clopyralid.
Methods of application:
The product is applied by spraying, in spring applications, at the beginning of the vegetation period, before the flower buds are visible, but after the appearance of leaves on crop plants.
The product can restrict crop rotation in conditions of low moisture soils, as well as in soils poor in organic matter.
Therefore, in the conditions of soils poor in organic matter and in conditions of excessive drought, a classic rotation is recommended, with monocotyledonous crops (cereals or corn).
Dose:
Rapeseed - Postemergent application with 0.25 to 0.30 l per ha.
Mustard - Postemergent application with 0.25 to 0.30 l per ha.
The volume of water: 200 to 400 l per ha.
Preharvest period: 75 days.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Recommendations:
Galera SL can be applied in combination with the insecticide Reldan 10 EC to control Melighetes aeneus.
Galera can be applied in combination with other products: fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, foliar fertilizers, and growth regulators, if the recommendations on the product label do not restrict it.
Applications are made when the air temperature is higher than 8°C.
Do not apply if there was frost the night before or if frost is expected. The product is not affected by rain after 2 hours following application.
Do not apply the treatment in windy conditions, to avoid spreading the product on crops other than rapeseed or mustard.
