Product information
Korvetto, 5 litres is a forage brassica herbicide manufactured by Corteva. It is designed to be used on winter oil rapeseed.
Benefits:
- superior control for a wide range of annual broad-leaved weeds, including cleavers, mayweed, and thistles
- efficient on a wide range of other problem weeds including cranesbill and poppy
- based on Arylex as an active ingredient (the same used with Belkar herbicide) + clopyralid.
- safe to use, flexible and compatible with a range of temperatures between 8-25° C, in humid or dry conditions.
- no restrictions for the crops that follow
- no need to add surfactant
- rainproof
Action mode:
- Very effective in managing weed biotypes resistant to other modes of action such as ALS inhibitor herbicides, glyphosate and triazine herbicides.
- Product concepts containing Arylex are being evaluated across the globe in all major cereal markets.
- It kills the target weed by copying the plant growth hormone auxin (indole acetic acid).
Methods of application:
- Use 1l/ha dose rate to treat 5ha
- perform treatments prior to crop canopy closure and before flower buds are visible from above the crop canopy (BBCH 50)
- avoid applications in severe drought conditions or when frost is expected
- be cautious and avoid drift when applying near sensitive crops e.g. legumes, potatoes and carrots
Compatibility:
Korvetto is compatible with most common insecticides and grass weed herbicides recommended for use in forage brassicas.
Recommendation:
- best to apply from the 1st of march in the year of harvest.
