Product information
AQUACYP is a pyrethroid concentrate in micro-emulsion. Due to the use of water instead of organic solvents, the product is odorless. Therefore it can also be used in sensitive places. It is suitable both outdoors and indoors in hospitals, the food industry, garbage areas, hotels, schools, shops, cinemas, storage spaces.
AQUACYP is effective against a wide range of flying and crawling insects including beetles, fleas, mosquitoes, and flies.
Cypermethrin pyrethroid acts by contact and ingestion. It acts on the central and peripheral system, causing hyper-excitability, tremors, and convulsions. As a consequence of this excessive nervous activity, the transmission of impulses is blocked, paralysis sets in and the insect dies.
Cypermethrin has a high residual performance, with an effect up to three times greater than other permethrin-based formulas.
The remaining is closely related to the following factors of great importance: the type of surface treated, the degree and type of infestation, temperature and humidity, frequency of cleaning operations.
Instructions for use of the insecticide Aquacyp:
AQUACYP should be used in a dilution of 1% - 2% (100-200 ml in 10 liters of water). The solution can be applied with any type of pump or spray, one liter of the mixture is enough to treat one hectare of the surface.
The maximum rate should be used in case of strong infestations or for non-porous surfaces.
AQUACYP has a fairly strong chemical odor but does not stain freshly whitewashed or painted walls. However, it is suggested to avoid applying the freshly washed product.
Aquacyp Insecticide Toxicity:
The classification gave by “THE WHO RECOMMENDED CLASSIFICATION OF PESTICIDES BY HAZARD”: Cypermethrin Class II - LD50 (mg/kg): 250
