Prestige Extra 370 FS, 100 ml

Prestige Extra 370 FS is an insect-fungicide used to treat potato tubers to control Colorado potato beetles, aphids, and Rhizoctonia.

Mode of action: Prestige Extra has both a systemic mode of action and a  contact action on pests. Imidacloprid, the insecticidal component, forms a protective halo around the tubers through which the contact action on the insects in the soil is manifested.

How to use it: 

Prestige Extra is used to treat potato tubers to control Colorado potato beetles (adults and larvae), aphids, and Rhizoctonia during the growing season. 

The protection period against the mentioned pests is about 80 days from the emergence of the crop.

The treatment of the tubers is carried out simultaneously with the planting, with the help of the installation mounted on the planting machine. Depending on the operating parameters of the installation, 40-60 liters of solution per hectare are required. The need for commercial products for one hectare results from multiplying the dose required for a ton of tubers with the seed rate/ha. To the resulting amount add water to the required volume of solution.

Before starting the work, the water test of the application installation is performed to establish its operating parameters. When preparing the solution, the bottles with Prestige Extra are shaken before emptying into the tank of the installation.

It is not recommended to apply the product on the tape at the same time as sorting, because the excess moisture on the treated tubers, especially in the absence of their drying possibilities, can favor the spread of bacterial infections in the mass of tubers.

The tubers must be well matured, with a good sprouting capacity and vigor, free of bacteriosis, viruses, mycoses, and without wounds. Avoid treating tubers that are sectioned before planting, due to the risk of bacterial infections and lower vigor. The tubers will not be treated, which after storage are found to have a weak vigor.
