Product information

Racumin Foam is an anticoagulant contact rodenticide for indoor use against rats (Rattus norvegicus), and house mice (Mus musculus) in holes and covered tracks, wall cavities and places inaccessible to livestock, children, and non-target species.
When contact is made the foam sticks to the rodent’s coat and the rodenticide is ingested during grooming.
Racumin Foam is used primarily as a supporting measure during normal bait application when there are conditions of high air humidity, attractive alternative feed sources or with bait rejection/shyness.

Directions for use/Application and rate:
A thorough survey of the infested area is essential to determine the extent of the infestation.
Foam must NOT be used as a tracking product. Apply at least 2 m from storage locations for food and animal feeding stuffs.
Bring can to room temperature and shake vigorously until the mixing ball rattles. Attach dispensing tube and press button to release foam.

Per burrow / track:
For Rats: Apply 20 g to 30 g foam (a foam the size of a half brick).
For Mice: Apply 4 g (a foam the size of a tennis ball) to 30 g.
This quantity can be applied as a single application or as a number of small applications along the track.
To enable the rodents to continue using their entrance points / holes do not totally seal off with the foam - keep the opening clearly visible.
The released foam usually lasts for 7-12 days, depending on disturbance and temperature/humidity.

Do not apply to surfaces likely to stain – perform a patch test if necessary.
Wipe off excess foam with a dry paper towel.
Follow up and disposal of contaminated materials. Search for and remove dead rodents at frequent intervals during treatment. Daily inspection may be required in some circumstances. Collect dead bodies and any product residue after the treatment is complete, contaminated materials and containers to prevent public health problems and secondary poisoning and dispose in accordance with local requirements. In the UK contact the Environmental Agency (www.environment-agency.gov.uk) or SEPA (www.sepa.org.uk) for disposal information.
Do not use as permanent rodenticide. Control should be achieved within 35 days. Should activity continue beyond this time the likely cause should be determined.
Do not empty into drains. Prevent the product, residues and empty containers from entering bodies of water.

Safety information
The product is harmful to wildlife. Prevent access to foam by children, birds, domesticated animals and pets (particularly cats, dogs and pigs).
After use, thoroughly wash hands and all affected skin using soap and water, and before eating, smoking or drinking.
When the product is used in public areas, the areas treated must be marked during the treatment period and a notice explaining the risk of primary or secondary poisoning by the anticoagulant as well as indicating the first measures to be taken in the case of poisoning, must be made available alongside the treatment.
Areas where foam is applied should be clearly marked to show that they contain rodenticides and that they should not be disturbed.
Avoid any unnecessary contact with the product particularly avoid ingestion.

Keep the container tightly closed and store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated location. Protect against freezing. Do not contaminate food, water or feeds by storage or disposal.
