Product information
Baycidal WP 25 is an IGR (insect growth regulator) type larvicide that acts on the larval stages of harmful insects, blocking their development into adulthood.
Targeted pests:
- The larvae of flies, mosquitoes, beetles, etc.
- Stable fly larva
- The reddish-black stable beetle
Field and area of use:
- Occasional application to landfills, sewers, manure drainage systems, and other organic materials;
- In animal farms (pigs, cattle, sheep, horses, birds, etc.);
- In swampy areas, with stagnant, dirty, and hot water, without fish fauna.
Action mode:
Baycidal WP 25 causes the death of young larvae (larvae in the first stage) blocking their development to adulthood, by inhibiting the mechanism of chitin formation. The larvae can no longer develop their exoskeleton, they dry up and die.
The larvicide stops the development of mosquito larvae, as well as different types of dipteran larvae - Domestic Fly, Stomoxys Calcitrans, Alphitobius Diaperinus, Eristalis Tenax - which use organic waste as a breeding ground.
For maximum effectiveness, the larvicide is applied only in combination with an adulticide, QuickBayt Spray WG 10 for flies, Solfac EW 50 or Ficam WP 80 for other pests, in order to eradicate all larvae that have already evolved at the stern stage. In addition, it is recommended to carry out treatment during the multiplication period - spring and summer - in order to prevent the generation of massive populations of insects.
The application must be done punctually, only in places where harmful insects have a favorable environment for multiplication.
How to use it:
Baycidal WP 25 is diluted with water and applied directly to larval infested surfaces with a low pressure pump. It is recommended that the treatment be applied bi-monthly (3 to 5 treatments/season) until the complete eradication of the entire larval population.
Application dose: 2 grams of Baycidal WP 25 for 1 sqm of the treated surface.
Terms of validity: 3 years from the date of manufacture.
