Product information

Sencor 70 WG, 100 g is a broad-spectrum control for use against annual dicotyledonous weeds and annual grasses. It is applied during pre-emergence and post-emergence, with stronger effects achieved in post-emergent applications.

Benefits:
- Controls annual dicotyledonous weeds as well as annual grasses;
- Quick absorption through the roots and leaves;
- Well tolerated by crops;
- Can be used both for post and pre-emergence applications;
- No recropping restrictions.

Action mode:
Sencor 70 WG is a herbicide for the control of weeds and grasses:
- Once applied, the active substance is quickly taken up by roots when applied pre-emergent and by the roots and leaves when applied post-emergent;
- The active substance acts as a photosynthesis inhibitor and relies heavily on the presence of moisture in the soil.

Methods of application:
Potatoes:
- Treatments are performed during pre-emergence following planting and during post-emergence until shoots have a height of a maximum of 10 cm.
- The required dose depends on the amount of humus in the soil. Higher doses are required in humus-rich soils.
- The dose is between 0.7 to 1.2 kg per ha.
- The volume of solution is 200 to 400 l per ha.
- The Preharvest period from the last treatment until harvest is 42 days.

Tomatoes:
- Sown directly in the field, treatments are performed at a dose of 0.3 kg per ha, 3 to 4 days after sowing.
- A second herbicidal treatment is performed at a dose of 0.4 kg per ha when tomatoes have 4 to 6 true leaves.
- The break time from the last treatment until harvest is 42 days.

Transplanted tomatoes:
- Treatments are performed at a dose of 0.4 kg per ha 10 days after planting.

Soybean crops:
- Treatments are performed at a dose of 0.25 to 5 kg per ha.

Crop  Weeds attacked  Dose
Potatoes  Mono and annual dicotyledons 0.7-1.2 kg/ ha
Tomatoes  Mono and annual dicotyledons 0.4 kg/ha
Tomatoes sown directly in the field Mono and annual dicotyledons 0.3 kg/ha preemergence + 0.4 kg/ha postemergence
Soy Mono and annual dicotyledons 0.25-0.5 kg/ha preemergence

Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.

Recommendations:
Do not apply on sandy soils.
In case of strong infestation with monocotyledonous weeds, apply in a mix with a grass herbicide.
Soil properties influence the herbicidal efficacy and crop tolerance of the active substance.
Soils rich in clay and humus require higher application rates.

Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
