Product information
Raft, 5 litres is a broad-spectrum herbicide that provides effective control of weeds and grasses in crops. It has contact foliar action, with the best results being obtained when weeds are germinated and come into direct contact with the herbicidal foil.
Benefits:
- Works as a contact herbicide during weed emergence;
- Sticks evenly to the soil surface;
- Offers broad-spectrum weed control;
- Does not damage future crops in rotation;
- Environmentally safe;
- No phytotoxic effects when used at recommended doses.
Action mode:
Raft offers quality broad-spectrum weed control for the safety of your crop plants:
- Is part of the chemical group oxadiazoles and acts by inhibiting enzymes that intervene in the formation of chlorophyll;
- Seedlings quick go into necrosis and die, therefore, to obtain good results, proper preparation of the germination bed is necessary;
- Applied in post-emergence, Raft acts by contact, destroying the sprouted weeds, and the active substance that reaches the ground acts on the emerging weeds.
Methods of application:
Sunflower
- Pre-emergent application, in a dose of 1-1.25 l per ha or 0.75 l per ha associated with an acetanilide graminicide;
- Post-emergence application, on chernozem type soils with humus over 2.7% in a dose of 1.25 l per ha, when the sunflower has a maximum of 4-6 leaves and the dicotyledonous weeds are in the cotyledon phase or are in a maximum of 2-4 leaf stage.
Rice
- It is applied in pre-emergence, after sowing, in a dose of 0.8-0.9 l per ha. The herbicide is prepared using 200-300 l water per ha and will be followed by irrigation. Ensure uniform application.
If the soil does not have enough moisture, the effect on grasses is diminished, therefore, pre-emergent treatments will be carried out shortly after the preparation of the germination bed, immediately after sowing.
Crop | Weeds attacked | Application moment | Dose |
Sunflower | Annual dicotyledons and some grasses | Preemergence | 1-1.25 l/ha |
Rice | Setaria viridis | Preemergence | 0.8-0.9 l/ha |
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Recommendations:
- The best effect is obtained by germinating the weeds and coming in contact with the herbicide film. The plants are necrotic shortly and die.
- Therefore, in order to obtain good results, proper preparation of the germinating bed is necessary. The product is not translocated in plants.
