Product information
Merlin Duo is a herbicide based on two active substances: isoxaflutole 37.5 g / L and terbuthylazine 375 g / L and comes in the form of a concentrated suspension, used in both pre-emergent and early post-emergence treatments to control annual dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds in maize cultivation.
Benefits of Merlin Duo:
- It acts as a root and has a strong systemic activity in the plant
- Weeds are destroyed right after they appear
- It has a high reactivation capacity even after a dry period
- Merlin Duo allows the soil to be kept clean for 6-8 weeks after application
Action mode:
- Merlin Duo has a strong systemic activity in the plant.
- Weeds are destroyed right after they appear.
- The first sign that the product is effective is the whitening of the seedling, followed shortly by the rapid and complete destruction of weeds.
- An exceptional feature of the product is its reactivation capacity. Contact with moderate rain or irrigation reactivates the product in the soil, thus controlling weeds that may grow during this period. This effect can occur several times on the same soil.
- Terbutylazine contributes to the complementary control of some weeds as well as to the strengthening of the action of the herbicide on the grasses.
- Merlin Duo allows the soil to be kept clean for 6-8 weeks from application or until the first possible mechanical work.
Methods of application:
Apply in both pre-emergent and early post-emergent treatments, after a recommended dosage.
Pre-emergence: the recommended dosage is 1.8-2 L / ha
Early postemergence: the recommended dosage is 1.8-2 l / ha.
For soils with low humus content and low infestation, a low dose will be used.
On soils with higher humus content and strong weed infestation, sd will use a dose of 2 l / ha.
The treatment is carried out until the growth phase of 3 leaves of corn and until the weeds are in the early phase of growth, when they have 2-3 leaves.
Compatibility:
No compatibility indications are known.
Recommendation:
Cereals and autumn rapeseed can be sown 4 months after application of the product, after a normal plowing.
Recommended solution volume: 200-400 l / ha
