Product information
Centurion Plus, 5 litres is a convenient, easy to use formulation designed for selective postemergence grass control in broadleaf crops and forestry. Designed to allow broadleaf crops to thrive without grass weed competition this professional product provides an excellent grass weed control tool for farmers growing forage crops such as brassicas and lucerne, clover seed and vegetable growers.
Benefits:
- It has a broad spectrum of weed control
- It has a fast action in the plant
- The effects can be seen even after a few days
- Selective post-emergence herbicide
Action mode:
- Centurion Plus is a selective herbicide that is applied in post-emergence treatments and it has a wide range of action
- The herbicide has a systemic action. It is picked up by the leaves of grass weeds and then transported to the roots and rhizomes. Its formula contains an adjuvant that improves the absorption of the active substance by weeds through the leaves.
- The action is immediate, but the first symptoms are obvious after 8-10 days after application.
Methods of application:
The herbicide is applied during the period of intense weed growth, when they have at least 3 leaves formed or an average height of 15-20 cm. In dry areas, the treatment is applied immediately after irrigation or after rain.
For more effective control of perennial weeds, mechanical or manual weeding 5-7 days before and after treatment is not recommended, thus avoiding the spread of weed rhizomes. Fruit bushes, strawberries and fruit nurseries.
For plantations of fruit bushes, strawberries and fruit nurseries, the recommended dosage is 1.0 L / ha.
For potato crops, the recommended dosage is 0.8-1.0 L / ha for annual monocotyledonous weeds and 1.6-2.0 L / ha for rhizome crusts.
For sunflower crops, the recommended dosage is 0.6-1.0 L / ha for annual monocotyledonous weeds and 1.5-2.0 L / ha for rhizome crusts.
For chickpea crops, the recommended dosage is 0.8-1.0 L / ha or 1.5-2.0 L / ha, depending on the degree of infestation.
For rapeseed crops, the recommended dosage is 0.8 L / ha.
For crops of beet for fodder, field beans, soybeans, peas or alfalfa, a dosage of 1.5-2.0 L / ha is recommended for rhizome weeds and 0.6-1 L / ha for annual monocotyledonous weeds.
Compatibility:
Centurion Plus can be mixed in the tank with fungicides or liquid fertilizers but a preliminary test is required. For proper use, see the compatibility tables.
