Product information
Buctril Universal EC is a post-emergence herbicide used to control annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds in wheat and corn crops. The product is based on two active substances: bromoxynil 280 g / l and 2,4-D acid (ester) 280 g / l. This herbicide has a very good selectivity for wheat and corn at the recommended doses and times of application.
Benefits:
It is effective on many species of weeds that affect cereal and corn crops;
It works in less than 1 hour and has rapid effects visible from the day of application;
It has a low risk of washing in case of precipitation;
It is active from temperatures of 5 degrees C;
It has a very long period of use in cereals (from the time it rises until it becomes straw);
The remaining cereal stocks can be used later for corn;
Action mode:
- Buctril Universal has a systemic and contact action. It has a high efficacy even on weeds in an advanced stage of vegetation and perennials.
- Buctril is active at 5 ° C and penetrates the weed membrane less than one hour after treatment. That is why it has a low risk of washing in case of precipitation.
- Buctril does not cause spicule abortion when applied in the late stages. But the delay of application leads to intensified competition between weeds and wheat plant, which has negative effects on crop development.
Methods of application:
WHEAT: in post-emergence treatment, the recommended dosage is 1 l / ha, with a total volume of solution solution: 200-400 l / ha.
The optimal application time is between the beginning of the twinning and the second formed node.
MAIZE: in post-emergence treatment, the recommended dosage is 0.8 l / ha, when the growth stage is 4-8 leaves.
For the simultaneous control of dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds, treatment with auxiliary products such as Equip or Laudis 66 OD is recommended.
Compatibility:
There are currently no indications or contraindications for compatibility, but for the simultaneous control of dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds, treatment with auxiliary products such as Equip or Laudis 66 OD is recommended.
Recommendation:
The product has a better efficacy up to stage 2 growth.
In case of severe infestation of wheat, Sekator Progress OD herbicide is recommended
It can also be used to control dicotyledonous weeds in the lawn.
