Product information
Betanal Quattro SE is a very useful formulation designed for postemergence weed control in beet crops. It has the same broad spectrum of combat as Betanal Expert but it additionally provides a great deal of control for the weed species Setaria spp., Matricaria spp., Sonchus oleraceus and Sonchus asper. For this reason, it is recommended to use Betanal Quattro in case of strong infestation.

- Post-emergent herbicide with a complex composition (fenmedifam 91 g / l, desmedifam 71 g / l, etoumesat 112 g / l);
- Substances that ensure the effect of the treatment both through the leaves and through the soil;
- Good absorption, retention and speed of penetration;
- Selectivity to beet crops and very effective control of annual dicotyledonous weeds;
- Contact herbicides with translaminar action;
- Broad spectrum against broadleaf and weeds;
- Complex composition that ensures the effectiveness of both leaf and soil treatment;
- Effective and fast-acting;

- Broad-spectrum and contact-residual herbicide;
- Wide range of broad-leaved weeds;

Action mode:
The active substances phenmedipham and desmedipham act through the leaves of weeds. Ethofumesate and metamitron act on weeds both by their uptake by the roots and by their foliage, inhibiting photosynthesis. Betanal Quattro contains an additive based on rapeseed oil, which ensures very good adhesion, absorption, and effectiveness. It has a perfect selectivity for beet crops.
Methods of application:
- Betanal Quattro is applied to start from the cotyledon stage until the appearance of 4 true weed leaves, in 3 sequential treatments at a dose of 1.5 l / ha.
- The required solution volume is 200-400 l / ha, depending on the equipment used. The interval between sequential herbicides is 6-7 days.
Compatibility:
Betanal Quattro SE is compatible with Lorsban 50EC, Pyramin DF and Versatill Powerflo. Avoid tank mixing if the crop is stressed or damaged by wind, hail etc.
