Product information
Betanal Expert is a contact herbicide and translaminar action for post-emergence control of weeds in sugar beet, beet, and chard. Due to the innovation in formulation technology (based on Tributoxy ethyl phosphate in combination with specific vegetable oils) Betanal Expert presents a high quality formulation and spray mix, together with greater safety for the environment in terms of its efficacy and photo compatibility. It is used for combating annual dicotyledonous weeds and monocotyledons from sugar beet cultures.
Benefits:
- Contact herbicides with translaminar action
- Broad spectrum against broadleaf and weeds
- Complex composition that ensures the effectiveness of both leaf and soil treatment.
Action mode:
- The active substances phenmedipham and desmedipham act through the leaves of the weeds. Etofumesat works both through leaves and soil (germs and roots). The product acts after foliar absorption, inhibiting photosynthesis. Betanal Expert contains a rapeseed oil additive, which ensures very good adherence, absorption and efficacy.
- The product is characterised by the absorption, retention and increased penetration rate of the active ingredients, as well as by its perfect selectivity to beet cultures.
Methods of application:
- Betanal Expert is applied starting from the cotyledon stage to the appearance of 4 true leaves of the weeds.
- It is recommended to apply 3 sequential treatments per season at a dose of 1.2 l / ha, at the cotyledon stage of the weeds.
- The volume of the required solution is 200-400 l / ha, depending on the equipment used.
- The interval between sequential herbicides is 6-7 days.
Compatibility:
BetanalExpert is compatible with Tramat 500 SC, Goltix Compact 90% WG and Hache Uno 2000 175 EC. When using an unknown mix, we highly recommend to carry out a prior compatibility confirmation.
Incompatibilities:
It is not compatible with alkaline reaction products. Its application in mixtures with foliar fertilisers, adjuvants or oils is not recommended. If it is mixed with other herbicides, do not add insecticides or oils to the mixture. Do not mix with other herbicides that contain oil in their formulation.
Recommendations:
- Phytotoxicity: It is not phototoxic to the recommended species, when applied following good agricultural practises and according to the instructions on the label.
- The application of Betanal Expert or mixtures with it are not recommended when the crop has been affected by some stress such as previous use of other herbicides,
adverse weather conditions (high temperature, frost, saturated soils, high light intensity or mechanical damage).
- Do not apply with silicone adjuvants.
- Do not re-enter the treated area until 2 hours after application, verifying that the spray deposits have dried on the treated surface. For animals, it is not appropriate to indicate a re-entry time since the crops indicated are not intended for animal use.
Important: Any other crop, other than beets, can be planted without problems after 3 months have elapsed since the last application of Betanal Expert.
