Product information
Basta 14 SL, 5 litres is a non-selective herbicide with contact and systemic action for use in the control of annual and perennial monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds.
Benefits:
- Very powerful active ingredient;
- Contact herbicidal action;
- Partial systemic action;
- Quick results against most weeds;
- Ideal for orchards and grapevine;
- Perfect compatibility with residual herbicides.
Action mode:
Basta 14 SL has non-selective, contact herbicidal effects against invading weeds:
- Interferes with the metabolism of ammonium in the plant, while also slowing down photosynthesis;
- The first symptoms will be observable after 2-5 days and the complete death of the weeds occurs in 10-15 days;
- Seeds that have not germinated will not be affected by the herbicide.
Methods of application:
Fruit trees - Apply 5 to 6 l per ha, post-emergent, in the second part of May, when the average temperature during daytime is 19-20°C.
Grapevine - Apply 4 l per ha, post-emergent, for the control of annual and perennial monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds.
Rice - Apply 2 l per ha, post-emergent, before harvesting, at 25% moisture of the rice grains.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Do not mix with systemic products to control perennial grasses, as they do not have enough time to translocate into rhizomes.
Recommendations:
Temperatures below 10°C and drought stress reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
