Product information
Atlantis Flex is a selective herbicide designed to be used in controlling a wide range of dicotyledonous weeds in cereal crops, but also for annual and perennial monocotyledons. As Bayer's latest and most effective innovation in combating grass problem, Atlantis Flex acts both through the leaves and through the soil, has a very good selectivity due to the safener technology and contains 3 times less active substance Propoxycarbazone per hectare at the maximum application dose.
Benefits:
- Effectively controls grass problem weeds (Odos, Obsiga, wind grass, Lolium / raigras, Foxtail) and some dicotyledons.
- It acts both through the leaves and through the soil (taking over the roots).
- Very good selectivity thanks to Bayer safener technology.
- Wide compatibility with potential mixing partners.
- No rotation restrictions.
- Favourable toxicological profile
Action mode:
- Atlantis Flex contains two active substances Mesosulfuron-methyl and Propoxycarbazone-sodium, as well as safener technology, which ensures the highest degree of selectivity without compromising the effectiveness of the product on weeds and without affecting the cereal crop.
- Mesosulfuron and Propoxycarbazone act as inhibitors of the synthesis of the enzyme acetyl lactate synthetase (ALS), and Mefenpyr-diethyl is a safener that helps metabolise active substances in crops and ensures very good selectivity for them.
Methods of application:
- Atlantis Flex is absorbed very quickly (within 4 hours of application), both at the leaf and root level, and is transferred to the entire plant. After application, weed growth is stopped immediately, and visible symptoms of herbicide action are observed in the first days after application by the appearance of chlorotic spots, stopping growth, followed by necrosis and deformity of leaves and shoots, weeds being completely destroyed in 4-6 weeks. from the application.
- The product is applied post-emergence, between the phenophase of three leaves (BBCH 13) until the appearance of the second node (when it is at most 2 cm above node 1 - BBCH 32). When the dicotyles are in the phase of 2-4 leaves, and the annual monocots and Apera spica-venti (wind grass) are before the twinning.
- The recommended solution volume is 200-400 litres / ha.
Compatibility:
Only keep the original packaging.
Recommendations:
- The recommended solution volume is 200-400 litres / ha.
- In a normal rotation, after cereals herbicides with Atlantis Flex, any successive non-cereal crop can be sown.
- In general, deep plowing is recommended before the establishment of crops such as mustard or autumn rape, especially after a prolonged period of drought between the time of application and the time of establishment of the next crop.
- In the event of accidents in which the herbicide crop with Atlantis Flex must be returned, spring cereals, peas, corn or potatoes may be sown, after deep ploughing.
