Product information
Zantara 216 EC, 5 litres is a professional fungicide that prevents foliar diseases in cereals. Zantara uses Bixafen and Tebuconazole as their active substances, two powerful chemicals with systemic action and translocational movement through the plant. Tebuconazole provides a dependable curative action, and translocates faster through the plant, allowing for more application rate flexibility. Bixafen travels slower through the plant to provide protection for longer periods. The two substances synergize together to guarantee a high level of control against disease and are highly recommended in anti-resistance strategies.
Benefits:
- Fights against key diseases in cereals;
- Flexible, with a wide application window;
- Protective and curative effects;
- Protects for up to 21 days after spraying;
- Quick penetrative action and improved rain fastness;
- Compatible with most other insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers;
- Helps improve the total yield of your crops.
Action mode:
- Zantara contains bixafen and tebuconazole as active substances.
- Bixafen is a new active substance from a recently discovered chemical group (SDHI), with a different mode of action from the fungicides currently used in cereals.
- Both active substances have properties of systemic translocation in the plant.
- The high translocation rate in the plant for tebuconazole indicates a favorable curative activity that allows greater flexibility of application.
- The lower translocation rate for bixafen is advantageous, leading to a long-term protective activity.
- The combination of the two different modes of action ensures a high degree of control of wheat and barley diseases, Zantara being especially indicated in anti-resistance strategies.
Methods of application:
Weat and barley:
- Zantara 216 EC is used at a dose of 1 l / ha to control diseases that form the complex of foliar diseases that occur in these crops (wheat - Erysiphe graminis, Septoria tritici, Puccinia spp; barley - Erysiphe graminis, Pyrenophora trees, Rhynchosporium secalis, Helminthosporium sativum) and at a dose of 1.2 l / ha to control fusarium wilt (Fusarium spp.)
In wheat:
- A maximum of 2 terrestrial foliar treatments are applied, at a minimum interval between treatments of 21 days.
- The application interval is between the beginning of flowering and the end of flowering (BBCH 30-69) for wheat and between the beginning of flowering and the beginning of flowering for barley (BBCH 30-61).
- The last treatment aims to fight the fusariosis of the ears.
- The required solution volume is 200-400 l / ha.
- Zantara protects the crop 14-21 days after application.
The break period before harvest is 35 days.
Recommendations:
- Follow the specific treatment instruction for each type of plant;
