Product information

Pulsar 40 is an imazamox herbicide in the form of a water-soluble concentrate. It is used for broad-leaved annual weeds and some narrow-leaved weeds from soybean, alfalfa, sunflower (Clearfield hybrids) and rice (Clearfield) crops..

- guaranteed tolerance for culture, without problems in rotation
- it is a complete solution against many types of weeds, including difficult ones
- it is effective even with a single application
- keep the soil free of weeds until harvest
- controls broomrape weeds, including new breeds, in problematic areas

Action mode:
Pulsar 40 is based on an active substance called imazamox, from the imidazolinone group. It is taken up by plants mainly through the leaves, but also through the roots. Due to the residual activity at ground level, it ensures the control of weeds at sunrise and a new wave.
In the plant, the active substance is taken up to the growth areas where it blocks the synthesis of essential amino acids, responsible for cell growth and division.
Because of this, the plants die 7-14 days after application.

Methods of application:
Soybeans and peas: apply as an early post-emergence treatment, when the annual dicotyledonous weeds are in the 2-4 leaf phase and the annual monocotyledons are in the 1-3 leaf phase. The recommended dosage is 0.75 - 1 l / ha.

Alfalfa: apply in the first year, following the same recommendations regarding the weed development phase. In the second year and then in the following years it will be applied during the vegetative rest. The recommended dosage is 1-1.2 l / ha.

Clearfield sunflower: use the herbicide as a post-emergence treatment, when the cultivated plants have 4-6 leaves, and the annual dicotyledonous weeds have 2-4 leaves and the annual monocotyledons have 1-3 leaves. The recommended dosage is 1.2 l / ha in the case of perennial weeds. They are stopped from competition with crop plants, but after that, depending on environmental conditions, these weeds can regenerate.
Rice: use the treatment from the 3-4 leaf stage of the rice plant. It can be mixed with Dash adjuvant 0.5%.

Pulsar 40 can be mixed with Dash adjuvant 0.5% for rice crops.
There are no other specific recommendations for compatibility with other products, but just to be sure it is recommended to perform a preliminary test with the expected mixture to observe the physical aspects of the mixture and a test will be done to see the reaction of plants after spraying. For proper use, see the compatibility tables.

The maximum number of treatments per season:
- one treatment for soybeans, alfalfa, Clearfield sunflower and peas
- 2 treatments for Clearfield rice crops
- Avoid that the spray solution reaches other surfaces or crops such as beets, flax, vegetables, fruit trees).
