Product information

1. Herbicide Kelvin Top

Active substance: 40 g / liter nicosulfuron

Packing method: 5 liters

Kelvin Top is a nicosulfuron-based herbicide from the sulfonylurea family. Nicosulfuron controls weeds by foliar action, but also with minimal residual activity that can be observed on soils with low content of organic matter, sandy soils in very humid conditions. Kelvin Top is a systemic herbicide that is rapidly distributed in plants. Blocks the biosynthesis of the enzyme acetolactatasinase (ALS), which is required in the synthesis of essential amino acids. The growth of weeds ceases within a short interval of application of only 6 hours. The activity begins in the young growth peaks, which change color to yellow, become chlorotropic within a few days. The treated weeds become brownish, and their deaths occur after one or three weeks after application, depending on species and environmental conditions. Maize is tolerant to nicosulfuron because it is rapidly metabolised to a form that is not active on its own ALS. The best results are obtained when Kelvin Top is applied to active growth weeds, and adequate humidity is required to ensure an optimal level of activity.

Mode of action:

Apply post-emergence when corn plants have 4-6 leaves, annual grass weeds are in the phase of 1-3 leaves to bite, perennial grasses are 10-15 cm, cost 15-20 cm, and dicotyledonous weeds either small (2 leaves).

Treated plants: Maize

Combat weeds:

- annual grass weeds: Setaria spp., Echinochloa cruss-gali, Digitaria, Panicum spp., grain samulastra and others.

- Perennial grass weeds: Sorghum halepense from rhizomes, Agropyron repens.

- Amaranthus spp., Ambrosia artemisifolia, Brassica napus, Capsella bursa pastoris, Fumaria officinalis, Galeopsis tetrahit, Galium aparine, Lamium spp., Matricaria spp., Polygonum persicaria, Portulaca oleracea, Raphanus raphanistrum, Sinapis arvensis, Sonchus oleracea, Stellaria media, Thalpsi arvensis, Viola arvensis, Xanthium spp.

2. Herbicide Cambio

Active substance: Bentazone and Dicamba

Packing method: 10 liters

Cambio is a herbicide based on dicamba and bentazone and shows the action of both types of active substances. The product is absorbed by weeds within 4-5 hours after application. Bentazone has contact, is absorbed through the green organs of the plant, especially through the leaves, acting on the phytosynthesis process. The effect is first manifested by yellowing the petals followed by necrosis, which is visible after a few days after application.
Dicamba has systemic action, rapid effect, absorbs through leaves, stems, and absorption through the root system. The translocation is both acto and bassettal, accumulating at the growth points. The effect is manifested by the twisting and straining of stems and leaves, the swelling of the stem nodes, the curvature of the leaves. Symptoms are followed by chlorosis of growth meristems, growth inhibition, necrosis.

How to use:

Changing the specter of the implumation increases the importance of weed control such as Datura, Ambrosia, Xanthium, Amaranthus sp., Chenopodium , Solanum,  Polygonum. We have few herbicides available against weeds such as Solanum nigrum and Hibiscus trionum.
Cambio is a post-emergence herbicide in maize in 3-5 leaf pheocho- sis. Annual dicotyledonous weeds should be in the 2-4 leaf stage, up to 6 leaves, and perennials maximum 10 cm high.
Under optimum conditions (sunny, warm, with sufficient humidity), the weeds are completely destroyed within 2 weeks of application of the herbicide. If there is a pronounced drought and high temperatures during treatment and after application, it is possible to diminish the effect. Under these conditions, application in admixture with an additive (a mixture to be tested in advance) leads to stabilizing the effect.

- Contact effect, quickly absorbed through the green organs of the plant, blocks photosynthesis.
- Very good selectivity for corn.
- Extremely good impersonal effect Chenopodium sp. (Wild Spinach), Datura stramonium (Ciumafaia), Abutilon theophrasti (Teisor), difficult to fight.

- Systemic effect slow, migrates to all parts of the plant.
- Hormonal effect on cell division.
- The active substance is translocated both acro and bipetal, accumulating at the growth points.
- A particularly good effect against annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds.

3. Adjuvant Dash HC

Action Mode:

Dash HC is a specially formulated adjuvant to improve the distribution and adherence of the product to the cuticle and weed leaf wax by reducing the superficial droplet tension. It facilitates penetration of plant tissues and improves absorption with the ability to increase the efficacy, speed and regularity of herbicides that can be associated with. It also allows dose modulation to be used.

Directions for use:

Dash HC  is prepared in solution together with BASF herbicides especially for crops of grain, corn, sunflower, lucerne, soybean. It is recommended to use a 0.5 l / ha dose mixed with herbicides for strawberries and alfalfa, and 1 l / ha for herbicide blends for other crops.

CompatibilityDash HC  can be mixed in a reservoir with fungicides or liquid fertilizers, but a preliminary test is required. For proper use, refer to the compatibility tables.
