Product information
Kelvin 5 litres + Cambio 10 litres + adjuvant Dash 3 litres, is a professional package 5 HA that consists of two systemic herbicides and an adjuvant. Kelvin Top is a post-emergence systemic herbicide based on nicosulfuron, used to control rhizome weeds in corn crops. Cambio is a post-emergence herbicide for weed control in maize crops.
Benefits:
- contact effect
- quickly absorbed through the green organs of the plant and then into all parts of the plant
- a very good selectivity for corn
- I fight even the most difficult weeds
- Corn has a high resistance to nicosulfuron because this substance is rapidly metabolized to an inactive form.
- The active substance, nicosulfuron, has a foliar effect on weeds.
- Kelvin has a minimum residual activity that can be observed on soils with low organic matter content or on sandy soils in very good humidity conditions.
Action mode:
- Kelvin Top is quickly distributed in plants. It blocks the biosynthesis of the enzyme acetolactate synthase (ALS), which is needed in the synthesis of essential amino acids. This causes a cessation of weed growth only 6 hours after treatment.
- The first visible signs appear in the young growth tips. They change color to yellow and then become chlorotic in a few days, then change to a dark brown until they wither completely. Weeds will be permanently removed within a maximum of three weeks of application, depending on their strength and environmental conditions.
- Cambio is a herbicide based on a combination of active substances, dicamba and bentazone. The product is absorbed by weeds 4-5 hours after application.
- Bentazone has a contact action, being absorbed by the green organs of the plant, especially by the leaves. It acts on the process of photosynthesis.
- The first visible effects are yellowing of the petals, followed by their withering. The effects are visible a few days after application.
- Dicamba has a systemic action, with a fast effect. This substance is absorbed through the leaves and stems, which makes it possible to absorb it through the root system. Subsequently, the product is translocated to the level of growth points. When the treatment takes effect, it is manifested by twisting and wrinkling of stems and leaves, swelling of stem nodes, curvature of leaves. Symptoms are followed by inhibition of growth and then withering of weeds.
Methods of application:
- For best results, Kelvin Top treatments should be performed when weeds are actively growing.
- The treatment is applied post-emergence when the corn plants have 4-6 leaves and the annual grass weeds are in the phase of 1-3 leaves until budding and the perennial grasses are 10-15 cm, the stalk 15-20 cm, and the dicotyledonous weeds have a maximum of 2 leaves .
- The recommended dosage is 1-1.4 l / ha
- Adequate humidity conditions are also required.
- Cambio is applied directly to the ground in post-emergence treatments.
- It is recommended to apply the treatment when the corn plants are in the growth stage of 3-5 leaves. For the treatment to be effective, the annual dicotyledonous weeds should have a maximum of 2-4 leaves and the pillows a maximum of 10 cm in height.
Compatibility:
This herbicide could be compatible with most herbicides and fungicides used on cereals. However, it is recommended to check the compatibility under the specific conditions of use.
Recommendation:
- Cambio can have a total action in a very short time in plants if applied in optimal conditions of temperature and humidity.
- If you experience drought conditions, it is recommended to use an adjuvant to make the treatment as effective as possible and to stabilize the effect of the treatment.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
