Product information
Frontier Forte EC, 10 litres is a herbicide with systemic action against germinating weeds. It allows for a long protection period thanks to its special formulation that reactivates the active substance in the presence of humidity.
Benefits:
- Very good efficacy against main annual grass weeds and main dicotyledonous weeds;
- Excellent selectivity for quality crop protection;
- Highly soluble for enhanced results;
- Large application window;
- Very good dispersion in the soil;
- Residual effects allow protection against the second wave of weeds.
Action mode:
Frontier Forte EC, 10 litres is a soil herbicide with the application during pre-emergence of weeds and cultivated plants:
- Based on dimethenamid-P, Frontier Forte provides systemic action against germinating weeds that absorb the active substance through the coleoptile and the roots;
- For best effects, the soil must be moist enough to activate the active agent, so as to provide persisting protection for up to 2 months, affecting the second wave of emerging weeds;
- Maximum effects are achieved after 7 to 10 days following application when the product is solubilized in the surface layer of soil with the help of rain or irrigation.
Methods of application:
Treatments with Fortier Forte must be applied in the pre-emergence phase of weeds.
During dry springs, on soils with insufficient moisture, it is recommended to apply the herbicide before sowing.
Potatoes are sprayed pre-emergent, after the first or second re-pruning. Immediately after application, do not enter the field with other equipment, so as not to destroy the herbicide film.
Dose:
Sunflower - 0.8 to 1.4 l per ha, depending on the quantity of humus in the soil.
Corn - 0.8 to 1.4 l per ha, depending on the quantity of humus in the soil.
Potato - 0.8 to 1.4 l per ha. 1.4 l per ha for crops infested with Solanum nigrum‚ Xanthium italicum‚ Galium aparine.
Soy - 0.8 to 1.4 l per ha, depending on the quantity of humus in the soil.
Sugarbeet - 0.8 to 1 l per ha.
Consult the label for application instructions.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Not compatible with strong bases, strong acids, or strong oxidizing agents.
Recommendations:
It is not recommended to apply the herbicide after the emergence of cultivated plants and weeds.
Application on land with spring plowing is not recommended.
In dry springs, on soils with insufficient moisture, we recommend the application of the herbicide before sowing (ppi) and the immediate incorporation with the combine.
