Product information
Corum, 10 litres + adjuvant Dash, 5 litres, package 5 HA is a professional mix containing one selective herbicide for corn crops and one adjuvant which increases its efficiency. Corum controls annual dicotyledonous and some monocotyledonous weeds in soybean, alfalfa, bean and pea crops whereas Dash HC is an adjuvant that weakens the resistance of the leaves and it increases the absorption as well as the action of the herbicide.
Benefits:
- Corum is based on two active substances, which act in a complementary way
- The plants wither and disappear after 1-2 weeks of treatment
Action mode:
- Corum is a herbicide based on two active substances: Bentazon and Imazamox. Bentazone acts by contact and influences the process of photosynthesis. It is absorbed through leaves and other green organs. Imazamox is taken up by the plant to the level of growth areas where it blocks the synthesis of essential amino acids, responsible for cell growth and division. It is absorbed by plants especially through the leaves, but also through the roots.
- The plants wither and disappear after 1-2 weeks of treatment, but the first effects are visible from the first days: reduction of weed growth, yellowing and drying.
DASH HC is an adjuvant specially adapted to improve the distribution and adhesion of the product to the cuticle and the wax layer of the leaves. It reduces the surface tension of the drops and facilitates the penetration of plant tissues. Thus, it improves the absorption and increases the capacity, speed and regularity of the herbicides with which it can be associated.
It also allows the modulation of use doses.
Methods of application:
- CORUM is applied in early post-emergence treatments.
- DASH HC is prepared in solution together with BASF herbicides intended especially for straw cereals, maize, sunflower, alfalfa, soybeans.
1st year alfalfa crops:
- carry out the treatment when the crop plants have 2-9 true leaves, and the weeds are in the early stages of development, with 2-4 leaves. The applied dosage is 1.25 l / ha. Dash HC adjuvant is not added in this case.
Soybean crops:
- apply the treatment from the appearance of the first trifoliate leaves, until the appearance of the first lateral shoots, without exceeding this stage (BBCH 12-25). The treatment is effective when the weeds are in the early stages of development, having 2-4 leaves. The recommended dosage is 1.9 l / ha. Use together with the DASH HC adjuvant, in a dose of 0.25 - 0.3 liters per 100 liters of solution. Depending on the culture technology applied to the soybean crop and the level of weed infestation, Corum herbicide can also be applied as a sequential treatment, but with full compliance with the approved dose, as follows:
- first treatment: it will be applied in a dose of 0.95 l / ha, when the crop plants have a leaf.
- the second treatment will be performed after 7-14 days from the application of the first treatment, in a dose of 0.95 l / ha. In this case, at the time of treatment, most weeds should be young, with up to 2 true leaves.
Peas and beans:
- apply treatment from the appearance of the first trifoliate leaves to the appearance of the first lateral shoots, when the weeds are in the early stages of development, having a maximum (2-4 leaves). The recommended dosage is 1.25 l / ha.
- Apply herbicide will be applied together with DASH HC adjuvant in a dose of 0.25 - 0.3 liters per 100 liters of solution. Weeds must also be in the early stages of development
Compatibility:
DASH HC adjuvant can be mixed in the tank with fungicides or liquid fertilizers but a preliminary test is required. For proper use, see the compatibility tables.
Recommendation:
The maximum number of treatments recommended per season is 1 treatment at the approved dose.
