Product information
Cleranda is a herbicide in the form of a concentrated suspension. It is used to control annual dicotyledonous weeds and some annual monocotyledonous weeds in rapeseed crops.
This herbicide is used in conjunction with Dash Adjuvant which has a special formula, adapted to improve the distribution and adhesion of the product to the cuticle and wax layer of the weed leaves.
Benefits:
- The product has excellent selectivity for rapeseed hybrids
- It has a high efficiency, independent of the system of working the ground,
- It is a herbicide less dependent on soil moisture
- It does not cause phytotoxicity effects on rapeseed.
Action mode:
- Cleranda combines the action of two active substances with different modes of attack: imazamox and metazachlor. These also have residual activity.
- Imazamox is absorbed both by the leaves and by the roots, then it is distributed in the rest of the plant, up to the level of the growing areas. There it blocks the synthesis of essential amino acids, the responsibility for cell growth and division.
- Metazachlor is predominantly absorbed by monocotyledonous plants through the coleoptile and in dicotyledons the metazachlorate is taken up mainly by the roots.
DASH HC is a special adjuvant for reducing the surface tension of herbicide drops. It facilitates the penetration of plant tissues and improves the absorption and ability to increase the effectiveness, speed and regularity of herbicides with which it can be associated. It also allows the modulation of use doses.
Methods of application:
- For the herbicide to be effective, the crop must be in the cotyledon stage or to have no more than eight leaves developed.
- The product should be applied in early post-emergent treatments, when the annual dicotyledonous weeds are in the phase of 2-4 leaves, and the monocotyledonous weeds are in the phase of 1 - 3 leaves, until twinning.
The recommended dosage:
- 1.5 - 2.0 l / ha CLERANDA + 1.0 l / ha DASH HC adjuvant
DASH HC should be prepared in a solution, together with herbicides intended especially for straw cereals, corn, sunflower, alfalfa, soybeans. It is recommended to use a dose of 0.5 l / ha mixed with herbicides for straw cereals and alfalfa, and 1 l / ha for the mixture with herbicides for other crops.
Compatibility:
Both Cleranda herbicide and DASH HC adjuvant can be mixed in the tank with fungicides or liquid fertilizers but a preliminary test is required.
For proper use, see the compatibility tables.
Recommendation:
This herbicide works very well, regardless of the humidity conditions and the growing system.
This herbicide-adjuvant combination is independent of the tillage system and can be used in both plowing and minimum tillage systems.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
