Product information
Cambio EC, 10 litres is a herbicide that offers complete and safe protection against dicotyledonous weeds in corn crops. The two active substances employed offer good complementary action, with reliable crop selectivity, eliminating weed competition early on in the season.
Benefits:
- Eliminates weed competition early;
- Effective against dicotyledons problems in corn;
- Complementarity action of two active substances;
- Rapid weed removal for an increased yield;
- Ideal selectivity for crops;
- Does not affect the development of aerial roots.
Action mode:
Cambio is a herbicide based on bentazone and dicamba, and uses the synergy of the two substances to provide quality control of weeds:
- The product is quickly absorbed by weeds around 4 to 5 hours after application;
- Bentazone has contact action, it is absorbed through the green organs of the plant, and acts on the process of photosynthesis. The effect is manifested first by the yellowing of the plants, followed by their necrosis.
- Dicamba has a systemic action, with fast absorption and effects. The translocation is both acro and basipetal, the product accumulating at the level of growth points. The effect is manifested by twisting and wrinkling of stems and leaves, and swelling of stem nodes. Symptoms are followed by chlorosis, growth inhibition, and necrosis.
Methods of application:
Cambio is a herbicide used for post-emergence applications, in the 3 - 5 leaf phenophase of plants.
The annual dicotyledonous weeds must be in the phase of 2 - 4 leaves, maximum 6, and perennial weeds must have a maximum height of 10 cm.
In optimal conditions (sunny, warm weather, with sufficient humidity) weeds are completely destroyed in about two weeks after the application of the herbicide.
Dose: Annual and perennial dicotyledonous weeds - 2 to 2.5 l per ha postemergent.
Crop | Weeds attacked | Application time | Dose |
Corn | Annual and perennial dicotyledons (weeds 2-4 leaves), corn maximum 6 leaves | Postemergence | 2-2.5 l/ha |
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Not compatible with strong bases, strong acids, strong oxidizing agents.
Recommendations:
If during the treatment and in the time interval after application, there are conditions of pronounced drought and high temperatures, it is possible that effects will be diminished.
Under these conditions, the herbicide must be mixed with an additive to ensure a significant increase in the effectiveness of the treatment.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
