Butisan S, 5 litres is a dedicated herbicide for the protection of rapeseed and brussels sprouts crops, as well as for orchards and ornamental shrubs.
It offers lasting remnant effects in the soil and can be employed both for post-emergent and preemergent treatments.

Action mode:
Butisan S controls dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds:
- Butisan S belongs to the class of chloroacetanilide residual soil herbicides, with the active substance metazachlor;
- The product is taken up by cotyledons and roots and provides maximum effects before or immediately after the emergence of weeds;
- For optimal results it is necessary to apply the product on a well-prepared germination bed, crushed, smooth and moist.

Methods of application:
- Butisan S can be applied during preemergence or during early postemergence.
- Butisan S is applied by spraying on most soil, crushed and free of lumps, after existing weeds, have been removed and before new ones start to sprout.
- New plants can be transplanted once the plants are stable and hardened enough to withstand the treatment.
- Application of the product to new crops may require irrigation before applying the treatment.
- The volume of solution is calculated depending on the type of equipment used to perform the treatment.
- The recommended volume of solution is between 100 to 400 l per ha.

Dose:
- Autumn and spring rapeseed: 1.5 l per ha(postemergence and preemergence).
- Brussels sprouts(sown directly or transplanted): 1.5 l per ha.
- Trees and ornamental shrubs: 1.5 l per ha(post-emergent).

Compatibility:
- Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
- Not compatible with strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidizing agents.
- Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.

Recommendations:
- When used in a treatment scheme with other herbicides, it is recommended that Butisan S after previous treatments begin to no longer have an effect.
- If Butisan S is applied to a dry surface, it will be effective only after the first rain.
- Manual irrigation will help the action of the herbicide.
- Do not treat crops during hot, strong sun conditions.
- Avoid spraying the solution on other surfaces or crops.
