Product information
Butisan Avant, 10 litres is a powerful herbicide with residual effects that can be used for all rapeseed crops and hybrids to control a wide range of dicotyledonous and monocotyledonous weeds. Butisan Avant contains 3 active substances, their combined effect offering an efficient and reliable solution for weed control.
Benefits:
- Controls rapeseed weeds;
- Three active ingredients;
- Highly synergistic action;
- Systemic weed control;
- Safe, flexible application.
Action mode of Butisan Avant:
- The three active agents provide weed removal, helping rapeseed crops achieve ideal growth conditions, improving production and crop quality;
- Dimethenamid-P is taken up by the coleoptile of dicotyledonous weeds, and also by the roots and aerial parts, during germination and emergence;
- Metazachlor is taken up by the roots, hypocotyl, and cotyledons of weeds during germination and emergence;
- Quinmerac acts as a systemic herbicide, working through leaves and the roots of weeds;
- Butisan Avant causes weeds to dry out during or shortly after germination and also destroys cotyledon weeds, which are already sprouting at the time of treatment.
Methods of application:
- Pre-emergence applications are applied immediately after sowing, before the emergence of weeds or rapeseed.
- Early post-emergence weeds must be unrooted or in the cotyledon phase up to a maximum of 2 leaves, and rapeseed crops from the cotyledon stage up to a maximum of 7 leaves (BBCH 00-17).
- Use 2.5 l per ha, together with water.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Not compatible with strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidizing agents.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Use a maximum dose of 750 g metazachlor per ha for 3 years on the same land, considering normal crop rotations.
