Basagran Forte is a post-emergent herbicide in the form of a concentrated emulsion, used to control dicotyledonous weeds from soybean, bean, flax, alfalfa and potato crops.
Benefits:

Action mode:
- Basagran Forte is based on two active substances, bentazone 480 g / l and wettol 100g / l.
- It acts by contact and has an impact on the process of photosynthesis, being absorbed by leaves and other green organs.
- The effect on weeds is visible at about two days of application and is manifested by yellowing of plants and then their drying.
- The herbicide has a broad spectrum of action and comprises a wide range of annual dicotyledonous weeds, including those considered to be the problem.
Methods of application:
- The product is applied in post-emergence treatments by low pressure spray.
- The approved dosage is 2-2.5 l / ha in a volume of 300 l water for soybean, alfalfa, bean and potato crops, and 2 l / ha for potato crops.
- Spraying should be done when the weeds are in the active growth phase and have 2-3 leaves. The later the treatment, the less effective it will be.
- The maximum effect is obtained when the temperature is over 18 degrees Celsius, the atmospheric humidity is higher than 40% and it does not rain in the next 8 hours after the treatment.
Compatibility:
There are currently no compatibility recommendations for this product.
Recommendation:
- It is recommended that the treatment be performed when the air temperature is higher than 15ºC and the air humidity higher than 40%.
- Treatment during periods of stress for crop plants should be avoided.
- Ground equipment can be used for field application of herbicides commonly used in the above crops.
- Specific nozzles for herbicide application shall be used.
- The volume of solution used depends on the equipment used.
- Avoid spreading the spray to other surfaces or crops to avoid possible phytotoxicity when the variety is sensitive to the active substance bentazone.
