Product information
Akris, 500 ml is a professional herbicide used in corn agriculture. It is based on 280 g/l dimethenamid-P + 250 g/l terbuthylazine and it comes as an emulsion, medium viscosity suspension, with a weak fragrance.
Benefits:
- Many annual monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds are combated, including Setaria spp., Echinochloa crus-galli, Digitaria sanguinalis, Sorghum halepense from seeds, Amaranthus spp., Chenopodium spp., Datura stramonium, Galinsoga parviflora, Matricaria chamomilla, Polygonum aviculare, Polygonum convolvulus , Polygonum persicaria, Portulaca oleracea, Sinapis spp., Solanum nigrum, Stellaria media, etc.
Action mode:
- It combines the action of two active substances dimethenamid-P and terbuthylazine. Dimethanamid-P has a systemic action, and the germinating weeds absorb the active substance through the coleoptile. Very small amounts of the active substance are taken up by the radicle (secondary route).
- Terbuthylazine is taken up by weeds through roots and leaves so weeds are combated before emergence, during or shortly after emergence.
Methods of application:
- Apply maximum one treatment in pre-emergence or early post-emergence during the vegetation period BBCH 00-16 (maximum 6 leaves for the corn crop).
- Apply as a pre-emergent treatment 1-5 days after sowing.
- For best results make sure the used land is very humid.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
Recommendations:
- Avoid application on insufficiently prepared land or after spring ploughing, and also in very dry springs.
- Preharvest Interval (PHI): not needed.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
