Vivando is a state-of-the-art fungicide product, based on a Metrafenone from the benzophenone chemical family. This active substance has a unique mode of action, it interferes with the process of cell differentiation of different stages in the pathogen cycle. It blocks the penetration of the agent into the cuticle and disrupts the normal processes of mycelium development and sporulation. The active substance is quickly taken up and translocated into the leaf cuticle.

Metrafenone accumulates in leaf tissue mainly below the treated area. A small part is taken by the leaf and transported acropetally to the top of the leaf and on the edges, a quantity sufficient to ensure good control of the disease. There is also a vapor phase around the bunches and leaves, with a sufficient concentration for protection against powdery mildew. It has a protective and curative action.

Methods of application:
- Vivando is applied preventively, to warn to combat vine powdery mildew.
- A maximum of 3 treatments can be applied per year, with an interval of 12-14 days between them.
- The duration of treatments can be reduced to 10-12 days in favorable cases of attack for powdery mildew.
- They can be applied from the stage of 5 - 6 leaves until ripening (BBCH 15 - 81).
- It has a very good resistance to washing in the rain, being necessary only one hour from the application until rains can occur.
