Product information
Stroby DF, 200 g is a fungicide based on kresoxim-methyl with preventive action and with a curative effect, that provides a safe and efficient preventive treatment against plant diseases.
Benefits:
- Preventive fungicide, curative control effects;
- Highly effective when used preventively or at the first signs of plant disease;
- The active substance remains on the outside of leaves as a solid deposit, while small particles are quickly absorbed by the plant;
- Systematic release of the active substance grants a long period of protection;
- Proven effects in crop protection for apples, pears, and grapevine.
Action mode:
Stroby DF provides preventive action against fruit and grape diseases:
- Rapid absorption into the subcuticular layer and translaminar movement;
- Provides long-lasting protection on the outside of the plant;
- Stops the transportation of energy and blocks of the fungal respiratory system.
Stroby DF acts both on the surface and on the inside of plants to block fungal development and prevent the spread of disease to other parts of the plant or other plants. The gradual release of active substance helps defend against illnesses for an extended period, for increased crop protection and better overall yield.
Methods of application:
Stroby DF comes in the form of water-dispersible granules and is applied using a low-pressure sprayer.
The dose is 0.01-0.013%.
BASF's recommendation is to apply a combined Stroby DF (single-site effect) + Delian 700 WDG based multi-site ditianone, which gives the best practical effect against flaking and rasping.
In grapevine it combats the powdery mildew in doses of 0.2 kg/ha. A maximum of 2-3 splashes is recommended in a season. The splash interval is 10-14 days. In periods of high infection pressure, the interval between treatments will be reduced to 7-10 days.
Consult the label for extended information about dosage and spraying intervals for each type of crop.
Compatibility:
Stroby DF is compatible with the most commonly used insecticides and fungicides as well as plant fertilizers on the market.
Consult compatibility labels and perform a small-scale test before using Stroby DF together with another crop protection product.
Recommendations:
Consult the label for optimum mixing, dosage, and waiting time between treatments.
Consult the product label for pre-harvest intervals.
Full use of solutions is recommended immediately after preparation.
