Product information
Retengo is one of the most innovative professional fungicides designed to control diseases specific to wheat, barley, rye, triticale, corn and sunflower crops. Retengo with AgCelence effects is the solution for improving the production and quality of sunflower, corn and cereal crops. The proven physiological effects lead to the improvement of photosynthesis, more efficient use of fertilisers, increased resistance of plants to stress and sunburn as well as to drought, fewer aged leaves, and stems more resistant to breaking.
Benefits:
- It fights a wide spectrum of diseases, improves the efficiency of plant growth and increases tolerance to stress, having numerous benefits.
- Retengo offers support in obtaining quantitatively and qualitatively high productions and a protection of approximately 21 days against a wide spectrum of diseases.
- Retengo increases production and improves quality, controls a wide spectrum of plant diseases, improves plant growth efficiency and increases stress tolerance, contributing to increased sunflower and corn production.
1. Improved quality:
- Increases production per hectare (due to AgCelence effects);
- Higher protein, fibre and starch content;
- Accelerated use of fertilisers;
- Better silage quality;
- Higher MMB.
2. Loss reduction:
- Reduces the premature aging of plants;
- It reduces the stress caused by the first phases of the drought;
- Reduces fall.
3. Efficiency:
- Improves photosynthesis;
- Activates proactive defence mechanisms;
- It helps to recover more easily after the fall of hail;
- Ensures stronger strains, less affected by diseases and which contribute to greater productivity at harvest;
- 4. Fighting diseases:
- Excellent control of the main diseases;
- Fights diseases and constantly increases production;
5. Increasing tolerance:
- Increases the plant's tolerance to suboptimal environmental conditions, such as lack of humidity or thermal stress;
Action mode:
- Retengo contains Pyraclostrobin, which blocks the transport of electrons from the mitochondria, inhibiting the energy supply of the fungus, causing its death.
- Pyraclostrobin is a strobilurin with translaminar action and local system, which inhibits spore germination and controls mycelium growth and sporulation. It has a translaminar movement in the plant and acts preventively and partially curatively against pathogens specific to sunflower, cereal and corn crops.
Methods of application:
Sunflower:
- Apply at the stage of 6-8 leaves until the "star" stage (head 2-3 cm diameter) of the sunflower (BBCH 16-51). A maximum of 2 treatments can be applied, with an interval of 21 days between treatments, during the vegetation period BBCH 16-75, respectively from the appearance of the 6th leaf until the seeds in the middle third of the inflorescence are grey in colour and have their final size.
Maize:
- It is applied at the beginning of flowering, when the plants are between 80 cm - 1 m in height. A maximum of 1 treatment is applied per vegetation period BBCH 30-65, respectively from the
beginning of the elongation of the stem until the flowering of the upper and lower floors of the panicle , and fully emergent stigmas.
Wheat, Barley, Rye, Triticale:
- A maximum of 2 treatments can be applied to cereal crops, from emergence to the end of flowering (BBCH 25-69).
Compatibility:
- To complete the fighting spectrum, it can be mixed in the tank with an approved product from the triazole group. For correct use, consult the compatibility tables.
Recommendations:
- Retengo is generally ok with insecticides and fungicides, as well as with foliar fertilisers, but check the mixture must beforehand.
- Solution volume: 100-400 liters/ha, depending on the equipment used.
- Applying Retengo before the onset of drought stress can reduce premature ageing and extend the vegetation period of the plants, having a direct effect on increasing production.
