Flexity Duo (Retengo 10 litres + Flexity 5 litres)

Flexity Duo (Retengo 10 litres + Flexity 5 litres) is a new innovative fungicide package from BASF. It acts effectively against powdery mildew and the wheat foliar disease complex from the first treatment in spring. This pack is among the most effective on the market with a great advantage given by their synergistic action.

Brown rust and yellow rust can cause some of the greatest crop diseases. Crop damage can easily reach over 60%. Since the incubation period of the pathogens is long, 10-11 days, the attack is detected late, when the culture you consider healthy is already seriously affected. According to the HGCA Institute in Great Britain, Pyraclostrobin received the highest marks of all the strobilurins tested for the prevention and control of yellow rust and brown rust in wheat.

Flexity Duo Pack contains metrafenone and pyraclostrobin and is flexible in application depending on the stage of crop development and climatic conditions at the time of application.

Action mode:
Metrafenone
- Metrafenone is rapidly taken up and translocated to the leaf cuticle.
- Then it accumulates in the leaf tissue mainly below the treated area.
- Also, part of the active substance is taken up by the leaf and transported acropetally to the tip of the leaf and to the edges.
- In this way, metrafenone provides very good and long-lasting control against powdery mildew.
Pyraclostrobin
- Pyraclostrobin inhibits the germination of spores of pathogens such as yellow and brown rust, reticular spot or leaf burn. Pyraclostrobin blocks the transport of electrons from the mitochondria and thus inhibits the energy supply of the fungus. As a result, the fungus dies and the infection is stopped.

Compatibility:
Avoid strong oxidising agents, strong bases, and strong acids.

Recommendations:
- Use as the first fungicide treatment (T1) in the spring, in the wheat crop. Apply the package in BBCH phenophases 25-61, from the end of twinning to flowering.
- The recommended dose is 0.25 l/ha Flexity + 0.5 l/ha Retengo, in a recommended water volume between 100-400 liters/hectare.
- One Flexity Duo package of 5 liters of Flexity and 10 liters of Retengo is enough for the treatment of an area of 20 hectares of wheat.
Preharvest Interval (PHI) is 35 days.
