Cantus, 10 g

CANTUS is a professional fungicide boscalid-based anti-botrytis designed for combating grey rot of grapevines (Botrytis cinerea).

Benefits:
- no cross-resistance to the main groups of fungicides used at the moment
- cantus belongs to a new chemical group (carboxamides), which makes the range of anti botrytis products expand
- contact and translaminar fungicide

- quick rainfast effect to provide reliable control under harsh weather conditions
- protects against all stages of fungal development

Action mode:
It acts on pathogens in the breathing process, by interfering with complex 2 of the Krebs cycle. The production of energy in the mitochondria of the pathogen cell is stopped, which then dies. When in the plant, Cantus has translaminar movement and acropetal movement in the leaf.

Methods of application:
- When used at the beginning of the mushroom development cycle, boscalid acts on the inhibition of spore germination and the inhibition of germ tube growth.
- Applied in the early stages (A or B) of the vine, Cantus has a secondary effect on powdery mildew, ensuring a plus in combating this disease.
- Apply Cantus in an anti-botrytis control program for vines specific to each area.

Compatibility:
- Consult the labels before mixing with other insecticidal or fungicidal products.
- Incompatible with strong acids, strong bases, and strong oxidising agents.
- Not suitable for bio crops.

Recommendations:
For a good resistance management, a single treatment per season is recommended, in one of the following stages of the vine:
- end of flowering (A) or before the closing (compaction) of the bunch (B) or at the beginning of entering the parga (C).
Dosage is 1-1.2 kg/ha in 1000 l of water.
