Product information
Hudson, 1 litre is a selective post-emergence herbicide for straw cereals, corn, and pastures. It offers control over a large number of annual and perennial weed species and is one of the few herbicides for weed control during post-emergent fodder maize.
Benefits:
- One of the most effective active substances against Galium aparine;
- Used in combination with other approved herbicides, improves broadleaf weed control;
- Barley and Wheat applications;
- Very effective weed control in newly established pastures;
- Top-level weed control product for fodder maize cultivation, during post-emergence;
- Very good efficacy when mixed with metsulfuron-methyl herbicides.
Action mode:
- The product is absorbed into plants through the leaves and quickly translocates throughout the plant. Sensitive weeds no longer develop, lose color and die within 10 days;
- Best results are obtained during the active growth phase of weeds;
- Weeds that sprout after treatment are not controlled.
Methods of application:
Target weeds must be fully sprouted before applications.
The whole foliar surface of the plants must be sprayed for the treatment to be efficient.
Spring treatments (starting with March 1): Wheat, Barley (autumn) - Apply 1 liter per ha if the weeds are small and 2 liters per ha when the crop is at the 3rd knot.
Autumn treatments: Wheat, Barley (autumn) - Apply 0.5 liters per ha starting with the 2-leaf stage of the crop and until the end of February, but not after the appearance of the first knot.
Newly sown pastures - Apply 0.75 liters per ha at the beginning of autumn when the grass is well developed and weeds are actively growing.
Permanent pastures - Apply 2 liters per ha in 300-400 liters of water, in spring during the rosette stage, but applications can also be done 14-21 days after mowing.
Compatibility:
Compatible with most of the crop products available on the market.
Before mixing with other crop protection products, perform a small-scale compatibility test.
On land treated with Hudson at a dose of 2 liters/ha, do not sow peas, beans, clover, or any other legumes in the next 12 months.
