Product information
The insecticide in the form of tablets, for gassing stored seeds and fodder products, in order to control storage pests.
MODE OF ACTION:
Phosphine is a biologically active substance, which is formed only if the air contains at least 30-40% water vapor. Phosphine is an extremely potent neurotoxin gas from the T1F1 group. The product is approved as a pesticide to control storage pests, be they insects or small mammals.
Attention !!!
It is very toxic to humans (T + group), which is why the treatments are performed by specialized teams and authorized to work with such products, equipped with standardized plant protection equipment and first aid kits.
Phosphine, in its pure state, is insoluble in water and fats and does not enter into chemical reactions with the biocomponents of treated foods. Applied according to the indicated norms, phosphine destroys the pests of cereals and those of other stored products - legumes, vegetables, stored foods, etc., regardless of their nature - adults, larvae, pupae, etc. Agroxin 56 Tab can be used in any space that offers very good treatment conditions (silos, warehouses, containers). The first condition is the perfect insulation of the warehouse. The second condition is not to be close to crowded centers with people and animals. The treatments in large plastic bags (500-1000 kg) are made by inserting the tablets in the bags, in the required doses, but by keeping the bags in closed spaces for the entire duration of the phosphine action.
WAY OF USAGE:
It starts with the opening of the container - in the first phase ammonia and carbon dioxide are formed, an irritating mixture, which warns the applicator that the action has started. In a short time, the reaction with moisture leads to the formation of fostoxin.
The process is not very fast - under normal conditions of temperature and humidity (20 degrees C and 60% relative humidity), the release of phosphine takes place as follows:
● 40% in 24 hours;
● 75% in 48 hours.
We emphasize that below 5 degrees C, treatments with Agroxin are suppressed due to the replacement of phosphine hydrolysis with ammonia + CO2 hydrolysis. No treatments are performed above 30 degrees C due to the danger of ammonia catching fire in the first phase. The number of recommended treatments is 2, at intervals of 2 weeks, to be destroyed and eggs. The concentration used for all insects and mammals is 150 ppm, ie 15 g / t = 5 tablets.
Safety:
The ammonium carbamate that forms in the first phase controls the gradual release of phosphine, making Agroxin 56 Tab a safe product to apply. The residual final products decompose into equilibrium metabolites, being harmless to the environment.
After 6-10 days the warehouse, the silo, etc. it opens, ventilates, and cleans.
