Product information
Attention !!!
It is very toxic to humans (T + group), which is why the treatments must be performed by specialized teams authorized to work with such products, equipped with standardized plant protection equipment and first aid kits.
Agroxin, 1 kg is a professional insecticide that comes in the form of tablets, for gassing stored seeds and fodder products, in order to control storage pests. The tablets provide a fumigation effect with reliable and efficient effects against unwanted insects.
Benefits:
- Extremely efficient results;
- Works well against insects and small mammals;
- Wide range of storage applications.
Action mode:
- The ammonium carbamate that forms in the first phase controls the gradual release of phosphine, makes Agroxin a safe product to apply. The residual final products decompose into equilibrium metabolites, being harmless to the environment.
- Open the warehouse, the silo, etc. after 6-10 days to ventilate and clean.
- Agroxin controls storage pests.
- The active ingredient, Phosphine, forms when the surrounding air contains at least 30% to 40% water vapors;
- Phosphine has a very powerful neurotoxic effect (group T1F1), that acts against insects in any stage of development (adults, larvae, pupae, eggs).
- The process is slow, in normal temperature and humidity conditions (20° C and 60% relative humidity), Phosphine will release 40% in 24 hours and up to 75% in 48 hours.
Methods of application:
Agroxin is a toxic product with hazardous effects to humans and animals.
It must be applied by certified, trained specialists ONLY.
When used according to the product instructions, it can be applied to any storage units (silos, warehouses, etc).
The space that is to be treated must be well isolated and no pets, livestock, or people (except trained professionals) must be inside at the time of the treatment.
Large bags can also be treated using the Agroxin tablets, but they must be kept inside locked areas during the treatment.
Once the tablet containers are opened, ammoniac and carbon bioxide will be released and will come into contact, forming a highly irritant smoke, signaling the beginning of the treatment.
Shortly after, the chemical reaction it has with water vaporous in the atmosphere will generate the phostoxin.
The treatments in large plastic bags (500-1000 kg) are made by inserting the tablets in the bags, in the required doses, but by keeping the bags in closed spaces for the entire duration of the phosphine action.
Compatibility:
- Not compatible with bio crops;
- Chemical-resistant gloves.
Recommendations:
Do not perform treatments in temperatures lower than 5° C.
Do not perform treatments in temperatures higher than 30° C - high risk of fire hazards.
The recommended number of treatments is 2 treatments performed with 2 weeks break between them - this will make sure even the most resilient eggs are eliminated.
The recommended concentration is 150 ppm, 15g/t = 5 tablets.
After 6 to 10 days, the storage facility can be opened and must be cleaned and well ventilated for at least 8 hours.
