Product information
Syllit 400 SC, 20 litres is a professional fungicide in the form of a concentrated suspension used to control Venturia and other diseases in plants.
Benefits:
- preventive control and long-lasting curative action;
- usable on wet soil;
- fast penetration of the leaves;
- excellent rain fastness.
Action mode:
Syllit 400 SC helps protect crops by:
- changing the cell walls of the fungus, causing loss of the materials from within the cell.
- penetrates plant tissues, providing increased protection and destroying remaining infections in the plant.
Syllit 400 SC acts as a cleaning agent, removing the lipids from the cell walls of pathogenic fungi. This unique mode of action gives it the advantage of being a very good partner in an integrated treatment program that aims to maintain the efficacy of products from other chemical groups.
Methods of application:
Syllit 400 SC is a concentrated suspension that can be sprayed using a sprayer designed to apply high volumes of water up to the point of run-off.
Apples:
- it is especially recommended for the first two treatments against apple powdery mildew - the first at the beginning of the defoliation, and the next one at 7 days.
Peach:
- to combat diseases like peach leaf deformation, Syllit is applied late autumn when 80% of the leaves are fallen and spring at the beginning of the broom. Another treatment will be applied between the period of the floral bud until the fall of the petals.
Plums:
- to prevent the red patch of the leaves, it is recommended to apply Syllite as follows: when the petals fall; 2-3 weeks before harvesting; immediately after harvesting.
Compatibility:
Pyrus 400 SC is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides available on the market. It is NOT compatible with lime sulfur.
Recommendations:
To avoid resistance build-up, do not apply more than 3 treatments of Syllit 400 SC.
Consult the label for optimum mixing, dosage, and waiting time between treatments, depending on the type of plant that is being treated.
DO NOT use on fruit at temperatures close to the freezing point from the pink stage on, as fruit russeting may occur.
DO NOT use apples or pears under conditions conducive to skin damage including russetting, lenticular spotting, and drip point burn.
DO NOT HARVEST FOR 5 DAYS AFTER APPLICATION.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
