Product information
Pyrus 400 SC, 1 litre is a contact fungicide, with very efficient translocation movement, used in the control of diseases in vine and fruit crops.
Benefits:
Fights Diseases and Fungi: Gray rot, European pear scab disease.
- offers on-contact action;
- translaminar activity;
- fumigant activity;
- excellent rain fastness;
- inhibits the formation of lactase and oxidation;
- low toxicity.
Action mode:
Pyrus 400 SC helps protect crops by:
- inhibits enzyme secretion, which then stops nutrients from reaching the fungus;
- penetrates plant tissues, providing increased protection and destroying remaining infections in the plant;
- provides vapor translocation to reach untreated parts of the plant.
The mechanism of action of Pyrus 400 SC consists of inhibiting the fungus's ability to produce the enzymes necessary for the infection process. It acts by contact and then penetrates the plant through translaminar movement in the leaves. After application, the product is also distributed through vapors, thus also reaching the unsprayed leaves.
Methods of application:
Pyrus 400 SC is a concentrated suspension that can be sprayed onto leaves and fruits using a low-pressure spray.
Vine
- The number of treatments varies depending on the sensitivity of the variety. In order not to create resistance and to maintain the effectiveness of the product, it will be alternated with botryticic fungicides from other chemical groups.
Pear
- For the control of pear scab (Venturia spp.) It is recommended to use the preventive or curative product from the beginning of the vegetation period until the end of the bloom. The number of treatments should be adapted to the sensitivity of the variety and the degree of disease risk. At high infection pressures, it is recommended to mix with Topsin, Impact, Rover.
Tomatoes
- Especially recommended for species susceptible to the gray rot attack.
Compatibility:
Pyrus 400 SC is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides available on the market. It is not recommended to mix with strong alkaline substances or aluminum-containing products.
Recommendations:
Consult the label for optimum mixing, dosage, and waiting time between treatments, depending on the type of plant that is being treated.
Add the required amount of Pyrus 400SC to a partly filled spray tank with the agitation system operating. Add companion products and complete filling with water. Maintain agitation until spraying is complete.
For concentrate spraying adjust the dilution rate accordingly, ensuring that the rate of product applied per hectare is equal to the rate which would be applied per hectare with dilute applications.
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow the full Conditions, Disclaimer, and Directions for Use. Use the appropriate personal safety equipment if required and when needed.
