Product information
Keim Stop is an inhibitor of sprouting potatoes stored for consumption or processing.
Treated plants: Potato
Formulation: dusting powder (PP).
How to use: Keim Stop inhibits the germination of potatoes during storage for processing or consumption and is applied on the platform or belt to transport potatoes to warehouses.
Keim Stop is applied only once, by dusting, using a vibrating applicator that allows the homogeneous application of the product when passing the tubers on the conveyor belt in warehouses to inhibit the germination of potatoes during the winter. The use of the product ensures the maintenance of a healthy appearance and the proper color of the potatoes until the end of the storage period, being prevented from losing weight and deteriorating their quality.
Dose: Keim Stop is used in a dose of 100 g per 100 kg of tubers depending on the potato species, storage conditions, and the desired storage period. Depending on the speed of germination, subsequent application of a chlorpropham-based product may be necessary by an aerosol application. Potatoes that have been treated with Keim Stop can be eaten for at least 30 days after application.
Keim Stop is only used for potatoes. Cannot be used for seed potatoes.
