Rimon 10 EC, 1 litre

Rimon 10 EC, 1 litre is an emulsifiable concentrate insecticide and insect growth regulator (IGR), with fantastic results against insect larvae that acts as a chitin inhibitor and is intended for the control of insects in-crop applications.

Action mode of Rimon 10 EC:
- It acts in the larval and nail phase, deregulating larval metabolism and preventing chitin formation. In this way, larvae can no longer move to the next stage of development, they do not feed, they do not digress and they die. The product acts mainly by ingestion, but it also has easy contact and the residency on the treated organs is at least 15 days. Also, high levels of mortality were found in hatching larvae in treated eggs, which denotes that RIMON 10 EC also has an ovicidal effect against some insect pest species.
- Like all chitin inhibitors, Rimon 10 EC acts more slowly and does not produce a noticeable knock-down effect on the target species. It must first be ingested by larvae that then cease feeding and die after a while, either by exhaustion or as a result of the loss of the chitin layer and the inability to synthesize another at the age change. Since treatment with Rimon 10 EC on adults does not in any way affect their viability, the time of application is very important.
- The product is an ingestion-based insecticide. It starts working when larvae of insects feed on plant parts treated with Rimon;
- Does not affect adult insects, meaning natural predator insects and beneficial insects are safe from the effects of Rimon.

Methods of application:
- Rimon 10 EC can be used in both ground and aerial applications.
- In order to control the occurrence of pest resistance in insecticide application, Rimon 10 EC will only be applied in a crop during a season.

Ground applications:
Apply using a medium or high volume sprayer, equipped with a mixing mechanism.
Distribute the mixture evenly onto the target area.
Rimon 10 EC is rainfast within 5 hours after application.

Aerial application:
- Aerial applications may only be performed by registered Aerial Application Operators.
- Apply a mixture volume of 30 l per ha. Use a droplet range with a VMD of 250 to 280 microns.
- Consult the label for complete recommendations concerning aerial spraying.

Potato
- Use only to combat young generation I or II larvae, which interrupts feeding and causes them high mortality. It is recommended to use in a treatment program before treatment with products from other chemical groups (pyrethroids, organophosphorus, neo-nicotinoids) that only control larvae and adults, or even with them.

Fruit trees (apple, pear)
- Use after flowering to combat fruit worms, milling mills and melliferous flea, depending on the butterfly curve. The treatment is done when the first eggs are deposited. The volume of the solution is 1000-1500 l / ha depending on the species, the height of the trees, so as to ensure full coverage of the foliage.

Aligning trees, ornamental chestnuts and forestry
- Use to combat defoliation moths and caterpillars both in fruit plantations and on tree-lined trees, ornamental chestnuts in parks and in cherry trees (oak trees). The optimal moment of treatment is when the eggs have already hatched and the larvae feed (the first symptoms of attack).

Vegetables in the sun (tomatoes, cucumbers)
- Apply against greenhouse mussel, when the maximum weight in normal solution volume (1000 l / ha) is recorded.

Vegetables in the field (tomatoes, cabbage)
- Apply treatment to control lepidopteran populations when larvae are already hatched from eggs. To control the fruit fly (Helicoverpa armigera), the treatment will be early because the attack can be very aggressive and the larvae can penetrate into fruits or stems where they can feed without being affected by the treatment.

Storage grains
- Use to protect the production of grain and other seeds against the attack of deposit pests (gargarites, cockroaches, etc.). The treatment is applied to the cell loading bands using specially mounted spraying devices. By treating, by manipulating the treated products, the insecticide solution uniformizes in the mass of products.

Application doses:
Apples and pears - 35 ml with 100 l of water.
Citrus - 35 to 50 ml with 100 l of water.
Cotton - 350 ml of product per ha.
Grain sorghum - 350 ml of product per ha.
Peaches and nectarines - 35 ml with 100 l of water.
Potatoes - 350 ml of product per ha.
Seed potatoes - 100 ml with 100 l of water.
Soybeans, dry beans - 350 ml of product per ha.
Tomatoes - 35 ml with 100 l of water.

Compatibility:
Rimon 10 EC is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides on the market.
The compatibility can be influenced by the formulation of the mixing products and the quality of the dilution water.
A physical compatibility test is recommended before application.

Recommendations:
Do not spray if the wind speed is over 15 km per ha.
An insect-friendly adult does not have a negative action and is therefore recommended in integrated combat programs.
To obtain effective control, a full cover spray on the target plant is essential.
